Chapter 272

Keira Olsen arrived at her room and saw Howard's mother waiting at the door.

She hastened her steps and frowned, "Is Amy asleep?"

"Asleep."

Howard's mother's eyes flickered, and suddenly she pulled out Amy's milk bottle, "Tonight, Amy absolutely refused to drink her milk. Could you taste if the milk has gone sour or spoiled?"

Keira narrowed her eyes, sensing something was amiss.

She removed her mask, opened the milk bottle, tipped her head back, and ensured the bottle didn't touch her mouth to prevent bacterial contamination. After taking a sip, she carefully pondered, "It's not spoiled."

"Is that so?" Howard's mother waved her hand dismissively, "Then probably she's just full and doesn't want anymore. Perhaps we should switch to a different brand later… You finish up the rest, don't waste it."

Keira had gone early in the morning to the Horton Family for the funeral and hadn't had a chance to eat lunch; she was now ravenous.
