Layla P.O.V (Short)

My life has been the same ever since i was born, it was nothing special until my life change when i met this guy called Shin...

Thinking of what i should do for today, i thought of going into the forest in the backyard. Walking through the hallways, everyone bows down to me showing their respect like always. After quite a while, i finally reach my destination to the door that leads to the forest. Going out the door, I then followed the dirt path while humming a tune, then i heard a loud sound coming from my right, I then head towards the sound, I then saw a human who cut down a tree, that's when i go towards the human and talk to him (conversation at chapter 2) ...bringing him to the castle, i thought to myself, why am i being nice to him? I've never been nice to any human before, not sure as to why I'm being nice to him but i kept on leading him towards the castle while singing a little song. After quite a while, we then reach the castle, looking at him, he seems to be in awe by the scenery which made me feel somewhat pleasant. Then we were blocked by the guard as we are about to enter the castle, they ask why I'm bringing a human (read chapter 2 im sick and tired to write) after that the guard just nodded and step aside letting us go in, once again he looks in awe by the scenery that has been shown upon him.

Bringing him to mother, we walk the hallway for quite a time, while walking the people who were working there seems to be talking about Shin, they seems to be disgusted by his appearances at the castle, but he doesn't seemed to mind it at all. After walking for quite some time, we finally reach mother throne, where she sit and order people. The guard did not hesitate to open the door when they see that i'm the one who's coming.

Entering it, i then greeted her which Shin does the same (then of course read chapter 3 to know the whole plot in here) but for some reason i had the feeling of wanting to save Shin, to support him. So of course i step up to talk which mother seems to be approving so she start to give him a chance and do some research about his identity. Then she also provided him some rooms to stay and some food, maybe she suddenly became nice because i was helping Shin.

From when i was much younger, i never asked anything from mother, she always ask what i wanted but i simply just rejected it. So maybe because of my sudden support towards Shin, she decided to help me with it.

Then she ask the guard to bring Shin to his room, while i'm staying here.

"Layla, why did you bring a human into our kingdom? Haven't you thought of the rule of the elf?"

"Yes mother, but he... He seems to be somewhat special, from the first time i met him today, i feel somehow attracted to him"

"Are you sure that you're not under a spell Layla? If he uses magic to manipulate your mind, i will not hesistate to kill him"

"No mother, plus if the magic is not 4th rank magic or above, it will not affect my mind"

"You're right, afterall you were blessed with a mental fortitude from when you were born.... But Layla are you sure that helping the Human was the right choice?"

"Yes mother, i don't know but it felt like it was the right choice"

"Then if you say so..... Please dont regret your decision after what happens in the future that comes from that human, he could bring the downfall of the kingdom if he really is a spy"

"Yes mother, i will hold the guilt of hundred of thousand of people if that really happened"

And just like that our conversation ends, from that day onwards, my life started to become much more different than usual and my feeling towards Shin start to grow more for some reason. There is something..... Something that makes me attracted to him, but he doesn't seems to know that too... I wonder.....

(PS. Im really sick and tired right now, if not i would write a much longer chapter but waiting for my recover would take a long time so yeah, very short chapter on this one)
