HER GOODBYES

I wasn't only saying goodbye to the problems I desperately wanted to solve. I was also saying goodbye to irreplaceable people.

As you already know, Mrs Grace was kidnapped then murdered. It didn't look like suicide according to those who were at the scene. Well since the police was now involved, proper action was taken.

Amanda was now recovering after ten days of witnessing the grievous death of Mrs Grace. John visited Amanda once in a while, but mom never left her side.

Dad made me promise to return home, which I did, the following day after my parents found out the truth. Grandmother tried to convince dad not to punish me for what I did. I don't think that made any difference.

Once I got home, I was not allowed to go out. I could only have friends over. As for my sister, I just facetimed her. I didn't say much to my dad even though we ate breakfast and dinner together. He was pretty disappointed. I thought he wouldn't want to talk to me.
