Ch-8 <Fight guy >

The mountain air was thick with tension as Guy stood before Kevin, his red eyes gleaming with a mix of curiosity and pride.

The aura surrounding Kevin wasn't something Guy had encountered before; there was something almost serene about it, a calmness that unnerved him. And yet, Guy couldn't help but flirt openly with Kevin, his usual reckless demeanor showing through.

**"You're not ordinary, are you?"** Guy said with a smirk, stepping a little too close to Kevin. His red eyes gleamed mischievously as he leaned in. **"I wonder, is there more to you than just that aura? Maybe I should get to know you a little better."**

Velgrynd's flames flickered dangerously behind Kevin, and Velzard's icy breath began to chill the air around them, both sisters clearly displeased with Guy's bold flirting.

**"You've got some nerve, Demon Lord,"** Velgrynd hissed, her voice low and threatening. **"Back off."**

Velzard narrowed her eyes, her wings unfurling as frost crept along the ground. **You don't get to toy with him."**

Guy merely chuckled, raising his hands in mock surrender. **"Relax, I'm just playing around."** But his playful tone did little to ease the dragons' anger.

Three days passed, and Guy had made up his mind. He was going to establish his domain, a realm where he would reign as the Demon Lord, as promised to Veldanava.

But before he left, there was something he had to do. Something that had been nagging at the back of his mind since the moment he met Kevin.

He wanted to challenge him.

As Guy stood before Kevin, the mountains behind them seemed to tremble with the anticipation of the coming battle. **"Let's settle this,"** Guy declared, his eyes glinting with determination. **"A duel. But let's make it interesting."**

Kevin raised an eyebrow, already sensing where this was going. **"And what are we betting?"** he asked, his voice calm yet curious.

Guy grinned, clearly relishing the moment. **"If I win, you'll become my follower."**

Kevin's expression remained neutral, but a faint smile tugged at his lips. **"And if I win?"**

Guy laughed, his pride showing through. **"We'll see about that, won't we?"**

As soon as the words left Guy's mouth, the ground beneath them began to shake. The wrath of Velgrynd and Velzard was palpable, their powers flaring dangerously.

Misery and Rain, Guy's loyal maids, stood behind him, both beginning to sweat nervously.

**"Please don't provoke them any further, Guy-sama,"** Misery muttered under her breath, her eyes darting toward the dragon sisters. **"I'm not sure I'll survive."**

Rain nodded, her voice trembling slightly. **"We should have pray harder…"**

Despite the rising tension, Veldanava watched the scene unfold with great interest. This was all part of his plan, after all.

The battle began as Veldanava conjured a barrier to contain the destruction, though even he wasn't sure if it would be enough.

Guy, with a gleam of excitement in his eyes, unleashed his **Demonic Fire**, flames so powerful they could burn through souls themselves. The inferno surged toward Kevin, the heat distorting the very air around them.

But Kevin stood unshaken, summoning **Stardust**, a barrier of iridescent light that shimmered like the stars. The demonic flames crashed against it, but the stardust held strong, not a single flicker of light wavering under the attack.

Kevin decide to use only stardust to see the limitations of his unique skill pride

**"Not bad,"** Guy called out, impressed. **"But let's see how you handle this!"**

He summoned an **Abyss Core**, a dark, swirling mass of energy that pulsed with malevolent power.

With a single motion, Guy crushed it, unleashing his **Death Streak**, a nuclear magic ray designed to obliterate his opponent at the genetic level. The destructive beam tore through the air, its power enough to disintegrate anything in its path.

But still it didn't break kevin barrier. Kevin was already in motion.

Using **Stardust** as a medium, he propelled himself toward Guy with astonishing speed.

His punch shattered through the layers of magical barriers Guy had erected, and with a single blow, Kevin sent Guy flying backward, blood dripping from his lips.

Guy's regenerative abilities, normally able to heal any wound, were sealed by the anti-magic properties of Kevin's punch.

Guy wiped the blood from his mouth and grinned. "You're full of surprises, aren't you?" he said, drawing his sword with a flourish.

Kevin responded by summoning his Fire Edge, a blade forged from the core of herrscher of dominance, now reaching the mythical grade.

The air between them crackled as their blades met, the force of their strikes causing shockwaves that shattered the ground beneath them.

The mountain quaked with each clash, boulders tumbling down as the landscape was torn apart by their battle.

Despite Guy's experience in combat, he had never faced an opponent like Kevin. His every move was met with overwhelming power, and for the first time in a long while, Guy found himself on the defensive.

With a final, powerful strike, Kevin disarmed Guy, sending his sword flying from his grasp.

Before Guy could react, Kevin stopped time. Velzard, watching from the sidelines, felt the shift immediately.

**"He stopped time?"** Velzard whispered, her eyes wide with surprise.

Velgrynd's flames got stopped since she cannot move in suspended world.

In the frozen moment, Kevin moved with precision, his punch imbued with anti-magic as he approached Guy.

When time resumed, the punch connected, and Guy was sent flying across the battlefield, his body crashing into the side of the mountain with a thunderous impact.

Guy lay on the ground, gasping for breath. **"Damn… I lost again,"** he muttered, his pride taking another hit. Two defeats in a row—he could barely stand it. His desire for power burned hotter than ever.

Suddenly, a voice echoed in his mind.

But even with this new power, Kevin's abilities were still beyond his reach.

Kevin's **Desired Outcome** allowed him to control the flow of the battle, and no matter how hard Guy fought, he couldn't match Kevin's movements.

Kevin had learned much from the battle, including many of Guy's nuclear magic attacks such as **Nuclear Fire**, **Death Streak**, and **Calamity Claw**.

With each new move, Kevin continued to dominate the battlefield.

Kevin stopped time again, his punch imbued with its iridescent power. He was deliberately using timestop as he want Guy to copy it.

In the frozen moment, he reached Guy and, as time resumed, delivered a devastating blow.

Guy was thrown across the battlefield, the force of the punch shattering the surrounding landscape.

Even with **Thought Acceleration**, it only allowed Guy to glimpse Kevin's movements but it wasn't enough.

Kevin had been using only his basic fighting skills and **Stardust** to completely overpower the Demon Lord.

Velgrynd and Velzard, watching from the sidelines, exchanged glances.

"He defeated Guy… that easily?"Velgrynd whispered in disbelief.

" he is stronger than i imagined." velzard said.

The battle was over, and as Guy lay on the ground, his mind was racing. He had lost again, but instead of despair, a new fire had ignited within him.

He got insight on suspended world because of his ultimate skill.

But for now, he accepted his defeat, knowing full well that Kevin was on a completely different level.

Kevin heard a notification
