As the lively air around Frost Palace settled into a calm evening, the peace was shattered by an all-too-familiar scene—Kiana and Veldora, both brimming with confidence, had started arguing again.
The two were a natural pair of frenemies, both possessing enormous power but equally arrogant. Today, their latest bickering over a trivial matter—pudding, of all things—escalated into a full-blown duel.
Kiana, with her arms crossed and her signature smirk plastered on her face, challenged Veldora.
"You're just afraid of losing to me again, Veldora!" Kiana teased, her eyes glinting mischievously.
Veldora, ever the proud dragon, couldn't resist rising to the bait. "Afraid? Me? Kuhahaha! You must have forgotten who you're talking to, little tuna!" he said, puffing out his chest. "I am Veldora , the mighty Storm Dragon!"
"Why don't you try me, dragon boy?" Kiana smirked.
Kevin, seated nearby, sighed deeply. He had seen this play out too many times before. "This is going to be a mess..." he muttered to himself, but he made no attempt to stop them.
With a roar, Veldora transformed into his true dragon form, towering over Kiana, the air around him crackling with lightning and power. But Kiana was unfazed. She had reached the pinnacle, her powers evolving to a point where even Veldora, a True Dragon, would find it difficult to keep up.
In an instant, Kiana called forth her Void Lances, their tips glowing ominously as they hummed with the power of absolute severance and imaginary bypass. She twirled them effortlessly before launching them toward Veldora.
"Let's see how you handle this, you overgrown lizard!" she taunted, her eyes glowing with void energy.
Veldora roared as the lances came at him from every direction. He tried to deflect them, unleashing waves of lightning, but Kiana's precision and sheer speed overwhelmed him. The Void Lances pierced him from all sides, pinning his massive form to the ground.
With a groan, Veldora's dragon form collapsed.
Velzard and Velgrynd watched from the side, their expressions full of worry. Veldora looked battered and bruised, his energy drained from the relentless fight.
"Stop! Veldora loses!" Velzard called out, rushing toward her brother.
Velgrynd followed close behind, her usual calm demeanor shattered by worry. "Kiana, you didn't have to go that far!"
Kevin, however, remained calm. He walked over to Veldora's defeated form and, with a flick of his wrist, invoked his Authority of Death and Reason. In an instant, all of Veldora's wounds were healed, his battered body restored to full health.
"There. Good as new," Kevin said, patting Veldora's head with a small smile.
Veldora groaned as he slowly reverted to his human form. "Kuhahaha! I was holding back, that's all," he grumbled, rubbing his sore shoulders. "Next time, I won't go easy on you, Kiana!"
But Kiana wasn't having it. "Oh, please. You got pinned down like a bug.Kiana,
Ha! And I win, Veldora! And you know what that means... The pudding is mine!" she said with a triumphant smirk.
The mention of pudding visibly crushed Veldora's spirit. His eyes widened in disbelief, and his shoulders slumped in defeat. "But... but the pudding..." he muttered sadly, his once-mighty voice reduced to a pathetic whimper.
Seeing her brother so downtrodden, Velzard sighed. "Here, Veldora, take my share."
Velgrynd followed, handing her pudding over as well. "You always make such a fuss about pudding. Just take it."
Veldora's face lit up as he accepted both shares with a wide grin. "Kuhahaha! This time I was holding back! That's why I let you win the fight, Kiana!"
Kiana just rolled her eyes. She wasn't buying it. "Holding back? Really? You just couldn't keep up! I mean, you still struggle with basic space-time manipulation, and I have Imaginary Bypass! You didn't stand a chance."
"Why you—!" Veldora growled, but before the bickering could escalate again, Kevin calmly placed a hand over Kiana's mouth
As the two began bickering again, Kevin finally intervened, placing a firm hand over Kiana's mouth. "Alright, that's enough. You can settle this another time. For now, let's stop before someone destroys the palace."
Kiana shot an annoyed glance at Veldora, but she didn't argue. Veldora, however, was still fuming. He stuffed the pudding into his mouth and mumbled something about "next time," but it was clear he had no real plan to win another fight with Kiana.
As the two calmed down, Kevin's mind wandered back to the fight. He had noticed something intriguing. Veldora, despite his overwhelming power as a True Dragon, still had weaknesses—particularly his vessel, which wasn't as efficient as it could be. True Dragon bodies were strong, but they had limits. And compared to the Deathman vessels that Guy Crimson and his maid possessed, Veldora's form lacked flexibility and adaptability.
Kevin turned to Bronya in his mind. "Bronya, did you notice that during the fight?"
"Yes, Kevin nii. True Dragon vessels are powerful, but they're not optimized for efficiency. They rely heavily on raw power, unlike Deathman vessels, which are built for adaptability and magicule control." this problem is same with velzard and Velgrynd.
Kevin rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "What if we constructed a new vessel for them? Something that could fully utilize their power...."
Bronya's voice responded in his mind. "Agreed. To increase his efficiency and power, I can use stardust and Reason power to produce the best physical body ever. We can construct a vessel that will maximize their power output."
Kevin nodded, liking the sound of that. "What if we create a spherical core of their true body Similar to the Herrscher Cores and put them in their vessels". Kevin asked.
Bronya responded quickly. "That's a brilliant idea, Nii-san. By using a core, their's powers would stabilize, and they would have complete control over them. It would allow them to fully harness their True Dragon powers, and their magical energy capacity would skyrocket."
Kevin rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "How long would it take to create the perfect vessel for him?"
"With the help of the soul bond, it would take approximately seven months to complete," Bronya replied.
Kevin smirked. "Seven months, huh? That's perfect. In that time, I'll also modify Velzard and Velgrynd's ultimate skills to ensure Rudra can't use Michael's control on them, either."

Later that evening, as they sat around a grand feast to celebrate the day's events, Veldora sat proudly at the table with not one, but three bowls of pudding in front of him. He wore a satisfied grin, basking in his perceived victory.
"I let you win today, Kiana," Veldora said, waving his spoon. "Next time, I'll wipe the floor with you!"
Kiana, who had been sipping her drink, raised an eyebrow. " You just need more beating ".
Velzard and Velgrynd smiled as Kevin leaned back in his chair, content with how things had turned out.
The bickering resumed, but this time with a lighter tone. Kevin couldn't help but smile at the scene before him—a dysfunctional yet loving family, growing stronger together.
