Chapter 7: Two Record Single's Released

After the photoshoot, Ethan was driven home by Noah. As Ethan was finally home, he rested himself tired from the trip.

"Hah..." Ethan sighed resting his head on the pillow.

After a few minutes, he decided to turn on his phone to scroll through social media. He watched some funny videos before checking his Viral Video.

"28 million in three days.." The number made Ethan choke. He kept on scrolling through the comments, some were positive but of course, there were also negative comments.

"Can't please anyone.." Ethan said, he stopped and read one of the comments on the video.

"Ah. Come to think of it.."

Ethan thought of what Noah proposed to him about creating a social media account for his future followers. Ethan pressed on his social media software and found that the original only had two accounts. His Mestagram account and ITube account after that there were no other accounts.

"An account...." After much deliberation, Ethan decided to give such a task to Ryan. "I should let Ryan take care of it besides I have other stuff to do.." And by other stuff, Ryan meant resting. 'Time to take a quick nap..'

When morning came, Noah stopped by Ethan's apartment to pick him up. Since Ethan didn't have a car and commuting by train or taxi tired Ethan, Noah decided to pick him up every day.

As they both arrived at the company, Henry was sitting on the sofa drinking coffee with huge eyebags.

"Hey.." Henry greeted with a smile.

"Henry stayed up all night just to finish the edits on the song.." Noah explained to Ethan.

"Since you are here, why don't all of us listen to the song?" Henry said to which they all nodded.

As they were inside the studio, Henry began playing the song. What amazed Ethan was that Henry's editing of the song resulted in the same rhythm, back music, and other stuff in the original record single he had heard on Earth.

After listening to the two songs, Henry asked each of them for their feedback, to which they all responded positively.

"So Ethan what do you think?" Henry asked the main character aka the singer Ethan.

"It's good.." Ethan replied to which Henry blossomed a smile.

"Great! Now all we have to do is promote the single, we should upload it in Stream and promote the single on ITube." Henry said to which Ryan gave a thumbs up.

Immediately Ryan got to work, but first Ryan reached out to the person who uploaded the viral video. After Ryan finished sending an email, Ryan focused on other tasks such as creating a social media account for their star.

Ethan was also tasked to promote the song, thus holding his maple guitar and standing on New York Times Square, Ethan began singing.

Instead of asking for tips, instead, Ethan put a sign on his back stating to support him on ITube.

After singing in Times Square, Yosef sent the pictures to Noah and immediately Rachel began editing the cover photo of the two singles. It was black and white to match the song's blues.

After editing the cover photo, Ryan and the others uploaded the single on ITube. 

"Huu..." All of them sighed at the same time.

In three days they had finished editing the record single, making Ethan sign the contract, and getting Ethan the copyright ownership. Promoting the video, and so much more.

All of them were tired, in just three days they had to do so many things for the sake of their first or two record singles. 

"So...how many views do you think it will get?" Rachel asked worriedly.

"No worries, I asked the ITube owner who uploaded that video of Ethan busking in Times Square to promote Ethan's two-record single," Ryan replied in return Rachel eased a bit.

"Hah...I hope our popularity and Ethan's would boost..." Noah who was sweating all over added.

Fans are the core of an Artist, without a fan an artist can't be called one. Fans also have their perks, such as helping boost their Artist's name, protecting and even taking down other competitors for their idol.

Noah was hoping that their company could attract other artists. Although they're glad that they have Ethan, to increase their popularity and rise to the rankings they need more talents!

Meanwhile, Alexa commented and even put the link to the official song on her ITube post. At first, when she saw the email, she was quite unsure, but after visiting Times Square and seeing the promotion banner on Ethan she immediately edited and put the link on her ITube post to help Ethan.

On the official page of StarStruck Entertainment Company, the only image shown was the official logo and Ethan's name, thus Alexa got to know Ethan's name. 

"Hey, I'm back!" Hannah shouted aloud.

"Glad your back. So did you get what I asked for?" Alexa asked and Hannah nodded her head in response.

"Yes girl, I got it. Anyways, so what happened with your idol?" Hannah asked with a teasing smile. 

"What are you talking about?" Alexa asked with a slight blush.

"Tehehe, I saw you at Times Square watching him perform, I even saw you have a small chat with him, keke" Hannah with a cat-like grin said.

Alexa who blushed sat on her bed covering her red flushed face.

"Kekeke it's so easy to make fun of you!" Hannah who was having the best time of her life kept teasing Alexa who was red as a watermelon.

While Ethan was scrolling through ITube since his two record single was released Ethan thought that there wouldn't be many viewers but contrary to his expectation, in just two hours Happier had gained 15 million views, and Photograph had a whopping 16 million views.

This was too much from what Ethan had estimated.

"Heck, I didn't think that the two songs would garner this much attention.."

Ethan glanced at his system interface, his notification bell from the system kept on ringing that he had to mute it.
