Speed Duo

As they quickly vanquished monsters throughout the first and second floors ,Holo learned how to implement his nail arts into combat.

He uses Dash Slash as an opening attack for the beginnng of a fight ,he likes to use Great Slash as a counter attack after dodging a charge and the like.

He also tries to use Cyclone Slash as a finishing move due to his ablity to keep the spin going for a total of five consecutive slashes.

After a while ,the party of two reached the fifth floor of the dungeons. Encountering dungeon lizards more often as well as other minor monsters like kobolds.

Eventually ,they reached the sixth floor before stopping to fill their bags with magic stones and item drops.

Around half an hour later ,they were resting on a stairway between the sixth and fifth floor. They had started heading back after filling up on loot.

They both had small pouches that could only hold 50 small magic stones. Now that they were both full ,they were heading back up to exchange their loot.

Killng any monsters on the way and making their way back ,they eventually exited the dungeon and headed to the guild to exchange their loot.

Their total Valis amount reached sixty thousand five hundred. It was enough for two days of supplies accordng to Bell.

He was surprisingly good at managing money and accounting for the worst situations.

After grabbing something to eat ,we went home to get our status updated. I was quite surprised when I had a ten for my magic stat.

I hadn't learn't any magic ,the only thing different was that I killed monsters for the first time today.

All my stats went up by increments of ten. I didn't understand why my stats were so 'neat and tidy' ,but my Nail Arts became a B-Rank skill through my efforts.

The training under the great nailsage was very helpful ,though I have yet to understand why these dreams come to me. I won't deny such guidance when offered.

After chatting about how the dungeon went with Lady Hestia ,I went out to get some training.

Not yet understanding how to 'focus' ,I walked around the city to try and find an answer. I looked for a nice place to try and acheive 'focus'.

As I was looking around for a quiet spot ,I bumped into a blue haired man wearing a ragged brown cloak.

His hood fell down after the collision and revealed his handsome face. He looked out of this world ,almost divinely.

Assuming he is a god of some kind ,I bow my head and apologize.

"Sorry for my insolence ,lost in thought."

Lifting my head back up ,he warmly put his hand on my shoulder and said,

"Pay no mind to it. Moreover ,what about you child. You seem quite troubled."

Huh? Are all gods kind like lady Hestia or is this some kind of facade? Sensing the wisdom emanating from his voice ,it didn't feel like a false pretense.
