"We should've stayed in the wisteria house…" hoshi said

Then zenitsu's sparrow came.

"At least someone found us…" kuki said

"Aw, he came here for us?!" zenitsu said

He pet the sparrow.

"You're such a cute little thing...but not as cute as hoshi-chan or nezuko-chan"

"Huh?" hoshi asked snapping out of her day dream

"Zenitsu thinks you're cuter than his bird"

"Oh...thanks, i guess…" she said, uninterested.

"So uh...let's continue trying to look for the rest of the group-" kuki said

"HEY! LOOK! CAN YOU SEE THERE?! MINE'S HIGHER THAN ALL OF YOURS!!" inosuke bragged

"Cool...can you do the last one?" taiyo asked

"Fine! I'll show you one last time, so don't miss it!!" he said

"Anyone want a sandwich?"

Then an audible CRACK was heard.

All of the puppets' heads were in abnormal positions.

Their necks had broken.

"T-they're all dead…" netsu stuttered

Tanjiro looked at one of the bodies and sensed something.

"Lets go…" he said

"You're right...it's over there!" inosuke pointed to the right and started to run

A couple of seconds later

"We're near the demon! The wind is changing and I can smell again. That way, we know where the demon is!"

Sniff

"There are two scents…"

then something jumped down from above.

The group jumped back.

"I FOUND IT FIRST! I'LL CHOP OFF HIS HEAD!" inosuke rushed towards the demon.

But…

"INOSUKE WAIT HE ISN'T ALIVE!" netsu yelled

He jumped down.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE ISN'T ALIVE?!"

"OH I DUNNO, HE'S HEADLESS...also, THERE ARE STRINGS ON HIS BODY!!"

"We can't behead him!! He has no weak spots!!" taiyo said

Then it hit him.

"Wait! I learned about something in my training…" taiyo said

"SPIT IT OUT!!"

"A kesagiri! In which the blade holder cuts the demon's head off horizontally! I can start off at his right arm and finish at the left"

"That could work…" kage said

"But look at the dude! He may be headless, but he's j a c k e d! Do you really think we can kill him without our swords breaking?!" shizen said

"It's worth a try," netsu said.

The group rushed toward the headless...thing.

"LET ME GIVE YOU A HEAD"

"That's not how the pun goes..."

Inosuke ran up the headless thing and attempted to do a kesagiri…

Only to experience he was getting attacked by spiders.

"CRAP! ITS A SPIDER!!! I CAN'T MOVE!! I'M GETTING HACKED!"

SLASH

Inosuke got slashed in the chest.

Surprisingly, the wound wasn't that deep…

Then he got slashed again…

And again…

And again…

Then the headless thing was about to give him the finishing blow.

Then tanjiro deflected the attack.

"Inosuke, we're in this battle together!! Let's think of a way to beat this demon. Let's fight him together!" tanjiro said

Inosuke stood up

"D-DAMN YOU!! I WON'T LET YOU EMBARRASS ME ANYMORE" he yelled

The headless thing charged forward.

Taiyo and inosuke both slice the daggers off of the thing.

"NETSU, JUMP!!" shizen and tanjiro yelled

She jumped, and her blade lit aflame

"UNKNOWING FIRE!" she yelled

And with one slash, the headless thing was no more.

"Thats hot" tanjiro whispered with an amazed face

"Literally" Kage laughed

Tanjiro ran up to netsu

"THAT WAS AMAZING!! You defeated him!! That technique...your stance, it was all amazing!! What breathing technique was that?!" tanjiro asked

"Oh...it's flame breathing...my brother taught me it"

"Looks like somebody has a little crush on netsu" shizen muttered.

Kage, taiyo and shizen chuckled.

"GAAH! I CAN DO IT TOO!!" inosuke screamed.

Then he threw tanjiro in the air.

And he fell into the forest.

"Wait, where'd he go?!"
