The demon slayer corps uniform are made out of a special fabric.
It breaths easily, and resists both water and flame.
Even the claws and fangs of lesser demons cannot rend this uniform.

"Damn, woman, why did you eat that apple like that...also WHAT'S WITH THE BANDAGES?!" kage yelled
"Remember when I used to get bullied by the boys because I looked too much like a dude...yes, I know it's odd but it's true...I decided to hate humanity and hide myself. Now everyone will assume i'm a guy!!"

Hoshi smacked kage in the head
"I DIDN'T EVEN SAY IT"

"Oh! Corps uniforms! You guys must be slayers too! Hey, my name's shizen kocho! I think we'll be working together on this mission!" shizen ran up to them and put her hand out for a handshake.
"Hey i'm *cough**cough**cough* sorry...uh, hey i'm h- Eiji uchu!" hoshi coughed to make her voice a bit deeper.
Kage smacked her in the head
"Don't mind her she's a idiot i'm Kage Yami by the way"

"DAMMIT KAGE YOU REVEALED MY IDENTITY" hoshi yelled
She removed the bandages.
"Ugh...lemme reintroduce myself...i'm Hoshi Uchu...i'm not a dude" she said.
"I kinda knew that already…"
"Yeah i know, because my brother told you?"
"No because...well, you still looked like a girl"
"Stupid girl body parts...shoulda just been born a dude, we wouldnt be in this mess-" hoshi muttered.
"Shizen...they're weird" netsu said finally

They started walking into the town
"So, tell us about yourselves!" shizen said
"Uh..i'm 15, he's adopted...and apparently my sword tells my future" hoshi said
"I LIKE SMELLING PAINT" kage yelled

"Oh look! More guys in corps uniforms!" netsu yelled.
Hoshi saw familiar maroon hair.
"Is that tanjiro?!" hoshi asked
Netsu and shizen went to talk to him.
"IT IS!" she yelled
She walked over to them.
"Oh, hoshi! Great to see you again!!"
"Yeah…"
"Uh...you two know each other?" kuki asked

Tanjiro turned around.
"Oh, right! Yes we do! Uh hoshi and friends these are kuki and taiyo sora! I met them...well, just now!"
"Paint anyone?"
"Kage, where the heck did you get that?! I thought i threw it out or hid it in yui's room…"
"You never understand me i will stop at nothing to get paint"
She grabbed the paint and threw it as far as she could.
He got another one out of his pack
"Emergency paint"
"Hey, can i see that for a sec?"

He ran
"Curse his enhanced speed…"
"Don't worry, i got this" shizen said
She tackled kage and grabbed the paint.
"JESUS CHRIST HOW ARE YOU SO STRONG?!"
"genes"

He began eating cookies
"You're a miracle worker…" hoshi said
Someone staggered near them.
His face was bruised and his mouth had dried blood on the side
"Cookie?"
Tanjiro looked at him, his eyes filled with sadness.
"Look kazumi is so pitifully haggard."
"Because he was with satoko before she disappeared"
"Night after night, it's so creepy"
"Yes, it's awful!"
"When night comes, another girl will disappear."
"KAZUMI!" tanjiro yelled
Kazumi turned around
"We would like to speak with you!"

That night
"This is where satoko disappeared. You may not believe me, but…" kazumi said
"We believe you!" netsu said
"We absolutely believe you!" tanjiro said
"Truly-" hoshi started
Then tanjiro went to the ground and started sniffing it.
"Um...tanjiro...what the heck?!" hoshi asked
"Shh! I'm using my smell to find the demon's tracks! You have an enhanced smell...so can you help out?"
Hohi grabbed a bit of dirt and sniffed it.
The faint odor of a demon remains

"Whatchu get?" kage asked.
"Hush! I'm thinking…"
Then tanjiro dashed away.
"WHAT HAPPENED?!" kazumi yelled
Hoshi smelled the air.
"We gotta go-" she said.
Then she started running
"THE SMELL IS GETTING STRONGER! IT'S A DEMON!" tanjiro yelled
Kage screamed at it
"COME OVER HERE COWARD"
"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU NOT KNOW ABOUT SURPRISE ATTACKS, IDIOT!!" hoshi yelled
Netsu jumped onto the roof and ran.
Then tanjiro stopped in an open space.
Then he stabbed the ground.
A black goop came out and a woman came out.
Taiyo grabbed her and carried her out of the way.
Then a demon with three horns came out.
"Guess you could say he's ho-" taiyo started
"Stop it...just stop" kuki interrupted
"Let the man finish the joke"

"WHERE ARE THE GIRLS YOU KIDNAPPED?!" shizen yelled
"Also, can you tell me about-" tanjiro started
The demon started
Kage jumped.
"Orb of darkness," Kage said.
