My heart races in my chest, as my feet pound against the earth below me, breathing heavily. "Shit," I breath out "Get back here you little bitch," I hear behind me only urging me to go faster, as my mind races 'I shouldn't have chosen to go through the woods,' I repeat to myself 'Stupid, stupid, stupid,' I run past trees and jump over roots 'Blake is probably worried about me,' I paint, my pace becoming slower 'No go faster damn legs!,' I yell at myself as I try to push myself further "I swear when I catch your ass, your in for a world of pain!, "I hear behind me again 'Run, run, run…,' I repeat to myself over and over again, soon jumping over a large rock continuing to run, only for a few seconds later me to trip over a large tree root "Fuck!," I scream as I try to scurry to stand up and run again, only for a foot to be pressed against my back making me fall onto my stomach again "You're so stupid," I hear James say, while catching his breath "Says the one that chased me through the woods that I know oh so well," I remark, only for him to press his foot onto my back harder making me wince in pain, "Shut up you stupid little-," he cuts himself off as there was the sound of a twig snapping, he looks around "WHO'S THERE!," he yells to no one "It was probably an animal you dumb fucker…," he looks down at me growling"SHUT THE HELL UP!," he yells kicking my side, making me gasp in pain 'Stay strong Sam,' I think. There is another snapping noise "Who the hell is there?!," he yells again, "Show you're self!" he yells when I hear footsteps getting closer to us 'Wait… someone is actually in the woods? 'I question seeing a pair of shoes stop in front of us "What the hell do you think you're doing?" I hear the person talk, 'That voice sounds all too familiar,' I try to lift my head to see the person "Blake?," I question, I feel the person gaze down at me"Indeed," I hear him say confirming my suspicions "Blake huh? Who are you? Her dad or uncle or some shit?,"I feel bakes gaze turn from me making me believe that he looked at James "I'm her brother actually," I hear him say, making James chuckle "Oh is your big brother coming to save the day?," James laughs, "Looks like you got off lucky today kid," I hear James say as he moves away from me. I stand up quickly running to Blake and hugging him. "How did you know?" I ask him quietly "Are you kidding me?," he ask with a smirk"I can always tell when my little sister needs help." he says with a smile, but then soon looks down at me with a serious face, "But for real, though… I heard you run past the house…why didn't you just run inside quickly?" he asks, I look at him surprised"Well… you usually don't get home before me… and the doors are usually locked so… I thought I might as well keep going, rather than risk getting hurt…"I say truthfully, he looks at me for a moment before nodding "I see," he says "let's get home." he finishes, I look at him and nod "Ok," I say while walking with him. After a few minutes of walking silently he finally speaks up "That was him wasn't it?," he asks, making me look at him, I nod "Yeah… it was," I had told Blake about James and what he had been doing to me, Sarah convinced me to tell him. Blake stops as soon as we get to the sidewalk, he turns to look at me "Sam... If you want, I can call the school to get them to do something…," he says while looking down at me thoughtfully "Do you really think they're going to do anything about him?," I ask with a look that says 'They never would any other time so why now?'he looks at me and sighs "It won't hurt to at least try sam," I look down a bit "Blake it's not worth the effort" I say looking at the ground below us. I sigh "Do what you want," I say "But I doubt they'll do anything… but for now, let's go home," I say while walking down the sidewalk towards our house…
