chapter five

My head was throbbing with pain , I tried to open my eyes but with it came a big wave of pain . I slowly opened my and something bright flashed in my eyes " she's okay for now " someone said . " Thank God " said someone I recognized the voice to be my mother's .

" Get her up everyone have arrived" I heard Rodrigo say " what , whose here " I said now coming back to my senses " every black wolf in the country" he said .

My head jolted up " where are they " I said with a new type of energy " in the conference room " he said " come on you need to get ready " my mother said . She tried to grab my hand but I got up without her help " someone's fully energized " Rodrigo joked . I tried to walk but I lost my balance and fell forward but Rodrigo acted quick and grabbed me " hey calm down you haven't eaten anything first eat something then go meet them I'm sure they can wait " he scolded me .

" Dear Rodrigo is right let's get you something to eat first " she said taking my arm and leading me  towards the door slowly . " My head hurts " I said " I know sweetie, you'll feel better after eating she said" .

         She was right my stomach was hurting I don't know how long have I been out  . They took me out if the nurses office and took me to my brothers room , there my mother helped me take a shower after that she left the bathroom and I had a few moments with myself I looked in the mirror and almost gasped . I looked horrible there were dark circles under my eyes, my skin pale and I looked tired . I heard the bathroom door open and I looked back , my mother was coming towards me with clothes in her hand " wear these " she said handing me a pair of ripped jeans with a over sized hoodie which I think was Rodrigo's.

I quickly wore the clothes and my mother walked back in the room , I followed her in Rodrigo's room where  a whole table full of different foods was .

       Without thinking I quickly grabbed a sandwich and started eating it , I swallowed the food without even properly chewing " show down honey , eat properly" I heard my mother say .

After eating I felt fully energized " should...we go " I asked nervously " yes , they are waiting for us " my mother said smiling.

She took my hands and started to walk towards the conference room . My legs were shaking, I felt like I was having an heart attack.

        And with all these was my biggest fear what if he's not here , I shuddered at the thought.

      We stopped in front of the conference room , without thinking any further I opened the door closing my eyes , when I finally opened them what I saw ....... Something I could not explain .

The whole conference room was empty there was no one there . I looked at my mother but she looked shocked as well " what... Where's everyone " I asked , before she could reply I heard foot steps behind us .

Me and my mother turned around and saw tens of men , all going towards the hall .

          My mother started to walk towards the hall as well and I followed her when we reached the hall door I saw Mr Elliott and my father along with my brother and Mr Elliott's sons " gentleman I sincerely apologize to send such a short notice" he said with authority. I looked around the room and was shocked to see so many people , as I recall from reading types of wolfs the black wolfs are very rare we only have two black wolfs in our pack one is my brother and the other is Mr Elliott's son Zeke .

     My mother took my hand and lead me towards where my father was standing "  but as I have told you we have a very serious situation, you see this girl " he said pointing towards me " has not been able to find her mate for 5 years " I felt everyone's eyes on me , I didn't like all this attention " but suddenly for 3 days she has been feeling tge mate pull " he said in which I heard a lot of murmurs " and from what we know her mate is a black wolf " he ended , now the whole hall was filled with murmurs.

     " Alpha Elliott how do you know her mate is a black wolf " the alpha of the sheers pack asked . " Her pull activated after seeing a picture of her mate after years of not seeing it that's why the pull was strong and we only saw her mates young wolf form , thus we know her mate is a black wolf " he explained to the whole crowed.

   " We acknowledge your problem but you know we don't have any black wolfs in our pack " some random alpha said " what do you mean " my father asked panicking" we have brought all the unmated males but we don't have any black wolfs in our packs " the alpha of the blood pack said .

       " The only black wolfs in this country are in your pack and ..." Someone was saying

" And what ? Do you know any other black wolf " Zeke asked this time .

      " Yes , but he disappeared but he disappeared 17 years ago " someone said .

I looked at Miss Milly who was also looking at me with sorrow in her eyes . I remembered the time before my and Zacks 18th birthday when she came in my room and told me that she deeply wishes that I would be her son's mate .... But little did she know that I would have no mate .

" Do you know anything about that wolf ? Where he was from ? " Miss Milly asked Mr Dorgo the Alpha of the sheers pack " yes , he was the son of the alpha of Thorn house hold the most powerful and wealthy pack in the continent" he was saying but miss Milly cut him off " yes , I'm aware of the story about his family and also the rumor that he was brain washed by some witches and is now a rouge but why is he in the topic of finding her mate " .

     " Because before he disappeared he visited this town with his father when the war was at the edge of happening " . Just like his words everyone went silent.
