Chapter 55: Turn of Events

For the past few weeks, I have been feeling nauseous and lightheaded. My craving has begun to change, and my period is late. I have my theory on what might be the cause, but I want to be a hundred percent sure. I need to go to the hospital, but I know my overprotective King will not let me step outside this house alone especially during ongoing war.

I started to pace back and forth thinking "What to do? I could sneak out, but that could damage his trust in me. Ahh, I got it "APOLLO!" I yelled.

I heard quick footsteps and seconds later a panting Apollo bussing through our bedroom door "What happen? Are you okay? Are you hurt?" he asked while coming closer to me and examining my body.

"Relax babe, it's just that time of the month and I ran out of sanitary napkins." That was the quickest excuse I could come up with.

Apollo looked at me weirdly "Oh, that's it I can just have one of the maids to buy you some."
