Ava snapped opened her eyes when she heard his words,' Where was he leaving?' she thought...

"Can you please not go before I leave" his voice was so soft than his usual stern one.

Ava didn't knew he would act in this way, the shameless man who he always be in front of her was acting out of his character. Her hands went to cares his back as she engulf him in her embrace. It was like her heart wanted her to do it.

Dominic hide his face under her nape inhaling her natural scent when he felt her arms wrapped around him as it kept caressing it.

His stiffen body felt relax into her solace. A while ago his beast were on the verge to loose their cool just because she didn't follow his order by plainly rejecting him. He wanted to punish her for not agreeing with him, but just the mere thought of her being afraid of him silence his inner monster acting like a pup in front of her.

After standing like that for sometime , he finally loosen his hold on her lifting his head to look at her. She looked like calm breeze which tamed his beast with her small act.

Tucking her hair behind her ear he cupped her face, her eyes held the power which made him vulnerable in front of her. He was not like that earlier, but after meeting her he understood what power the mate of his hold.

He had always brushed off his fathers words when he told that once he find his mate, she would have the uppermost power to tame his craziness. He would be more submissive to her and would not even harm her even if his beast growl inside.

"Father was right" he said looking at her beautiful face.

Ava didn't realize for how long she was watching him, until his words pull her back from his spell.

"Huh."

She didn't get his words, the man was too secretive, always talking in puzzles making her think hard on his words.

"Nothing.." he could only tell her, maybe she would not understand his words now but soon when she will start liking him once she would finally understand him.

"I would be out for somedays or maybe a week, make sure not to keep your foot outside the palace. If you need anything just ask Agatha. Be a good girl until I come" he caressed her cheeks by his thumb tackling her like a small kid who is very naughty and needs to be guide.

Ava frown when she heard he say to be a good girl. Wasn't she a good girl from the time she came here? His words were like a command which was asking her follow it without breaking them.

"What made you think I will follow your order" she strike back on his words making him chuckle on the way she answered him. He was expecting this answer from her, she was not so obedient to do whatever he told her.

"Little kitten.. if you don't follow my words then I will have to punish you with my kiss" he leaned making her gasp on the closeness.

Ahh.. this shameless man was not going to leave any stone to flirt with her. Did he always made women drool over him just making them listen his honey words. Do he even have women to warm his bed? she could help but feel sad thinking about him having other women with him.

"What are you thinking wife" he asked when he found her zoning out in her own thoughts.

Ava blinked her eyes listening his words, she didn't care if he had any women to warm his bed. She is only his wife in front of the royals and would soon leave him once she finds her answers...

Inside the chamber, Vincent was boiling in anger thinking about the humiliation he face in the dining room. He knew Dominic had a sharp tongue but he didn't expect him to slice him by his words.

"Ruth.. when will Kate arrive" taking a glass of wine in his hand he took a sip. He was angry and the only thing that will calm him down was his wife. He wanted her so he would take the revenge of his humiliation by using her as his weapon..

"Your highness will take another two days to arrive" Ruth answered his master.

Vincent have been tolerating them because he had another plans. He was just waiting for the right to show what he can do which will crumble the whole kingdom in a second.

"Any news inside the palace which I need to hear" he asked Ruth.

This was his daily habit to inquire what is happening inside the palace as he was not to friendly anyone. Even they didn't bother his presence as he was just of no use to them.

"Your highness.. I've heard from the maids that his Majesty will be out for some day" Ruth informed him about Dominic's departure making him smile.

"It's a great news I've heard after a long time. Don't you think I need to have more time with our new queen after she will alone getting bored inside the room. It would be a great opportunity to give her some company"

Vincent was craving for some action which he had not done from a while. Even Kate was not with him and he could feel his body reaching its peak to devour something new.

"You highness, it may not be the right time. What if his Majesty finds about it" Ruth was putting some brain in his head. He knew if he even try to go close to his wife, the beast will tear him into two piece forgetting that he was his sisters husband.

Vincent was like a cunning fox using his steps carefully, he knew his sudden action towards her would irk the king which will make him loose his life. He has a long way to go to fulfil his plan.

"I think you are right. I would have her after I take over the throne killing that hot blooded monster" he smirked imagining him on the throne ruling the Azov kingdom.

Kate was just a pawn whom he needed to execute his plan. After he conquer over the kingdom, he would threw her way keeping the beauty who had captured his attention as his queen.

"Ava..." he muttered under his breathe...

After Dominic left, Ava was again feeling alone. Even if she said her heart that she didn't care about him but still his absence was bothering her.

"You shouldn't think about him Ava" she said trying to make herself understand that his leave didn't affect her.

She tucked the strand of her hair behind her ears when she felt a light pain on her neck.

"What happened there?" she muttered tracing the finger on the skin of her neck.

"Ahh.. it pains"

Getting down from her bed she walked to her dressing table looking at the mirror only to find the mark more dark then it was earlier.

"It was light in the morning, how did became so dark" she thought when something unexpected stuck in her mind.

"No ways.. don't tell me it was Dominic who nibbled me here" her eyes widen in shock with the sudden realization.

"That why he was sucking me down on my neck" her nose flared in anger remembering his action before his leave.

"Argh!! you shameless wolf" she screamed scaring Agatha and the knights who were outside her room.

"What happen your highness" Agatha rushed inside when she heard her scream.

"Agatha make sure not to let that man enter my room hence forth" her anger was on the peak.

"Which man you highness" Agatha asked him confusion.

She have been standing outside the room and didn't see any man getting in or leaving the room.

"Dominic... I don't want him in this room ever again" her voice made Agatha open her mouth her shock.

"How can she stop his Majesty to enter his own room" she wanted to cry as she was stuck in between two people.. how many times she need to put sense to her words for not calling his majesty by name..

"God please spare this poor soul" she prayed silently watching her queen cursing her husband.

Not to far away from the kingdom, where Dominic and his guard had arrived he heard his wife cursing him, making him smile on her words...

"That will never happen little kitten" he muttered smiling at words.

Frederick saw his king smiling on his own, he being with him as his knight never ever encounter such a pleasant moment.

"What made you happy you Majesty" he asked when he saw him chuckle.

Frederick had been to his side from the time he took over the throne, his loyalty was something which made Dominic respect him more. He was one of his trusted person who would not even think about his life to protect his king.

Dominic was brought out by his thought when he heard the knight words. He turn to look at him in awe when he shut his mouth and again took the aloof face.

"Nothing.." he said plainly.

Frederick knew the man was not someone who love showing openly his emotions but the way he was behaving had to do something with his wife.

"Are you sure we are on the right path" he asked changing the topic.

"Yes you Majesty.. our informers can never lie. They found the man who made the sharp weapon" he said.

"Okay then we should not let him go so easily" Dominic stern voice was enough to show how desperate he was to find the person who had attacked him.
