Chapter 67

Before Amelia could realize what was going on her mother had opened the door wider allowing only her to enter inside.

She took a sit quietly before her eyes moved to the other chair opposite her gesturing for Amelia to sit.

Silence followed after they had sat down.

"You were close to the Witches, really close...why mum?" Amelia asked.

She always knew how close her mother was with them but she was so busy scheming to care.

"Why? I don't think I owe you an answer to that question Queen" She scoffed making sure their eyes didn't meet.

"You do Mum and you know very well you have to tell me"

"I will not, you are a threat and danger to the Witches, tell me haven't you and your husband had enough? I don't think there's anything left of the Witches what now?" She looked at her with eyes pleading.

"I never hated the Witches mum you know how important Kole was to me" She whispered.

"Do not take his name Amelia! let the souls of those innocent witches rest in peace..." She glared.

"I loved him mother"

"But yet you chased after the King, the one solely responsible for his death" She frowned.

Silence.

"What did you gain from this marriage? how much power is left with you when you can't even get pregnant for the heir? you see? you have nothing" Amelia's mother smiled.

"Who's fault is it for your misfortune?" she adds.

"The King" Amelia says her voice filled with hatred, vengeance and bitterness.

"You forgot one more person dear daughter of mine...my bad...I meant they're still two people left..." She shrugged.

"Who?"

"What do you mean who? yourself of course and your shameless father" She spat rising from her chair.

She dissappeared into the kitchen returning with a tray of two cups of tea as she placed it on the table in between them she smiled widely.

Tit for Tat...

She was going to cross her arms and watch wonders happen.

This was her revenge for her brother, his family ,Kole and every other Witches who lost their lives to her daughter's and King's stupidity.

"Sorry I tend to forget my hospitality" She laughed lightly regaining her position on the chair opposite her daughter.

She watched and examined her daughter's features...

Amelia has grown more beautiful due to the proper care she was given in the palace.

She would have been better with her previous lover than the King.

She smiled still staring at the lost Amelia opposite her...her mother could already tell what was going on in her brain.

She was going to make another mistake again and her mother would sit tight and watch the show.

"What are you going to do now?" Her mother wiggled her eyebrows.

"Revenge. I'm going to take revenge" Amelia glared at the floor beneath her.

"Revenge from who?" Her mother's smile widened.

"The King and that man..." She muttered

Silence reigned again before Amelia opened her mouth to speak again achieve she had been hypnotized.

"My father".
