Dodai and her hand maid looked from left to right,they were both at the border of Gabesh and Mayes,the same border were the Witch Queen's palace was.

If only Sophia was living there she would had been able to see what fate had in stall for her childhood friend and close companion Talmon.

Fate was about to play a cruel game of three innocent lovers and no one could see what was coming their way.

With Queen Merrai's vow it was obvious she was going to go against fate itself.

"Take good care of my mother Camille I will be safe and okay" Dodai says

"But my princess,if she asks of you or your future husband arrives what should i say?" Camille asks.

"You say your princess has refused to see anyone,trust me on this cam,I will be back before you know it" Dodai says.

She had thought hard about it and has decided she had to do it,it was for the best considering it was her life.

"As you wish your highness" cam whispers.

"Leave Cam,I will return to you and Mayes safe and it's a promise" Dodai says crossing the border into Gabesh.

With much asking around she was told the palace address and she had managed to sell off her gold bangles and earings and gotten a normal dress for the village people.

The palace guards hadn't stopped her from entering into the palace like she thought they would have..Mayes and Gabesh were quite different from each other in their beliefs.

Infact they had taken her to the said Queen of Gabesh,the one with the position her mother had wanted for her all her life.

"Your majesty there is a girl who has come to look for a job as a maid in the palace" She hears the guard speak to the Queen.

"Very well,we are in need of maids as it is. Send her to me" She says.

They were always in need of maids.

The Queen along with Other of the King's mistresses exerted their frustration on the maids every time they got angry.

It was either for not having a child after missing their periods or for the King not going to their chamber at night.

Did some maids loose their lives?

Yes,and who could question the Queen or King's Mistresses? No one.

"Your highness" Dodai says looking down,she didn't dare look the Queen in the eyes.

"What is your name?" The Queen asks.

"Camille" She says using the name of her hand maid.

"Camille are you certain you can clean and be discreet?" The Queen asks not even sparing her a glance she was too busy having a make over as she sat by a mirror.

"Yes Your Majesty I am very good for this job" Dodai says.

"Good,the guard will show you to the kitchen were you will meet the head maid. She will tell you the rules and assign you your duties" The Queen says.

"Yes my Queen, you are so generous! thank you your highness" Dodai says turning to leave.

"oh? I am" The Queen whispers although Dodai had heard it well.
