Chapter 30

Ahishar sat in the dark cell quietly.

She knew her daughter would do anything to get her out but what she didn't know is that it would be this fast.

A palace guard had walked to her cell and released her.

"You have been released and all charges has been dropped" The guard says.

Another guard escorts her to the gate where she is putten into a carriage taken her to an unknown destination.

She wandered what strings her daughter had pulled to get her released with her head still intact and looking at the body language of the guards they didn't want anyone to know she was being released.

Just what had Sophia done? She stuffed her head outside looking at the driver.

"Sir,I would like to Know where I am being taken to please?" She asks politely.

The man doesn't speak, he just keeps driving so she took it as her cue to stuff her head back inside and sit quietly.

'Guess I would just have to find out myself. How rude of him' She says to herself.

When the carriage comes to a halt she takes in her surroundings.

Another castle in such a desserted place? Did anyone even know about this place apart from the ruthless King himself?

She didn't wait for the carriage drive to open the door for her and treat her like a lady.

After all Ahishar could already feel from the incident that he wasn't even going to do it so she opened the door herself and climbed out.

"Thank you " She says to the carriage man who just nods slightly and drives off.

Turning back to the castle she see her daughter and God daughter standing by the door to the castle.

"Sophia! Talmon" She says running to hug them. Her only family.

She would forever hate the King for taking away what the Witches loved the most.

Family.

"Mum We missed you so much" Sophia says happily.

"I missed you too dear,am safe and back to you both now, meanwhile while we're at it....why are we staying in this castle?" Ahishar asks..

Sophia and Talmon look at each other palely before turning to Ahishar and flashing her a fake smile which looked quite real.

"we'll tell you later now,Mum please eat,take a shower and rest for the time being?" Talmon asks.

"That I will do" Ahishar says smiling lightly. "Oh, show me the way to my room" Ahishar smiles.
