Chapter 13

"My prince I think you should really see the cabinet members now" Edom says.

He had been standing at the door of Ramos's room for a long time now at first there had been noises heard from breaking of things in the room then silence followed since then.

Total Silence.

"The want to seek your approval for the burial of your parents, it's only fair that the people of Gabesh mourn their King and Queen peacefully" Edom says.

Ramos couldn't understand that,to him only he was allowed to mourn and do as he pleased,they where his parents after all,no one would understand the pain of losing a parent or so he thought.

"Tell them to decide on the day of burial and whatsoever they decide will be fine by me,on the funeral day I will say what I have to" Ramos's hoarse voice echoes.

"I will do that but first you need to put yourself together,your parents would not be happy seeing you do this,you are well aware the whole Kingdom rests on your shoulder now"

Silence follows.

Edom had been his best friend for as long as he could remember,he was the son of one of the cabinet members of his parents and since he was five he had trained to be his right hand guard.

Someone who would stand for him when he needed it and it looked like the time was here.

"I don't want to be King" Ramos yells.

"Then who will be? who will take revenge for your family if not you? who will end all this killings? Ramos wake up from your slumber, you're not the only one who has lost someone,even the witches have" Edom says.

The next thing that followed was a great noise from the room.

Ramos had destroyed the something in his room again.

He didn't want to hear anything about the Witches since his parents where confirmed dead they title had become a taboo to his ears.

"They're innocent you know" Edom whispers but he was certain she had heard him.

"Edom,know your place,it's not your place to speak in such manner to the future king about such disgusting people" Ramos says gritting his teeth.

"Yes your highness" Edom says shaking his head lightly,his friend had just drawn the line,he would know his boundaries now all he just prayed was that their friendship wouldn't be affected.
