Chapter 9:Yelena's wish

"Brother!" The awkward atmosphere were replace by Yelena's smiley face.

"Mommy! I decided to come, but tita Snow and tita Segundina want to sleep more. But tita Snow dress me up first before sleeping." She said proudly, but when her eyes landed to him, she stop.

She look at me, then Mirk. Oh no.. "You betrayed me!" Accusing us while glaring and pouting in front of us at the same time.

But Mirk answered coldly.

"You decided not to come, Yelena." I just hear Yelena said ahmp!

"All right! All right, that's enough. Let's buy you a lot of things!" Ziv said. I was about to complain when Mirk did it.

"You're not our daddy papa.. so why would you buy us things?" He froze. The boys whistled so I glared at them.

"Mirk. That's rude. Let the uncle do what he wants!"

"Uncle, huh?" Ziv arrogantly said but I ignored him.

"Benjie, I don't want to ruin this day! If you're planning to ruin it, go away!" He looked at me shock.

"Why me?! I'm innocent!" The boys just laughed at his reaction while Yelena went near Ziv and raised her hands. I was about to stop her when Mirk tugged my shirt, so I look at him.

He shook his head, telling me to let Yelena do what she wants. I slowly nodded. Just this once..

"Carry her." Ziv obliged and smiled sweetly. He looks so gentle and happy while looking at Yelena.

"Her eyes.." I avoid his gaze and pull Mirk and went to the elevator.

As much as possible I don't want to have any interaction with him. It's much better this way. He have his own family now, and I'll tell that to Yelena so she won't get attached too much.. I know they deserves his love but I want to give what's the best for them. And Ziv is not one of it, he'll just give my kids an heartache and I won't allow that!

"MOMMY is this enough?" Yelena ask while looking at the chocolates in her hands. I sighed heavily.

"Yelena, how many times do I have to tell you that Dada will be home this weekend?" She just pout and put one chocolate away.

"More, Yelena." She look at me with a teary eye, trying to find sympathy from me.

"Ok. Get everything you want but I'll tell Dada not to give you gifts and chocolates!" She stomp her foot and pouted more. I laugh at her reaction.

"Stop it, Yelena. You still have 2 boxes of kitkat in the fridge!" Mirk said coldly while he shook his head to her twin. But I notice that he simply slide marshmallows in the basket! This kids!

"Mirk." He look at me innocently and smile. I chuckled and pinched their cheeks!

"All right! Get what you want, but know your limit." They smiled happily and hug me! They are aware of their charms and they know how to use it.

Ziv noticed us and went near us. The guts!

"I'll pay for it.." I looked at him for a moment then glared at him!

"Their daddy papa will pay for it!" His face darken, he bit his lips trying to suppress to not let any single world come out from his mouth.

"Yes! Yes! So, you should just buy things for your own family! We've got a lot of daddy!" Like what I said, Mirk is very straight forward he won't care if you'll be hurt or not.

That's why sometimes I would rather choose Mirk to stay silent.

"Mirk! That's too much!" I look at Ziv reaction, and I regret I did. His face lacks of emotion, he looks pale but sadness is visible in his eyes.

That's one thing I love about Ziv, his eyes..it's so expressive even though his face shows no emotion.

"Mirk. Say sorry, the uncle is being nice." He frowned the glared at Ziv.

"But mom! Why should I apologize to that uncle?! His a jerk! Insensitive!" He shouted while pointing at Ziv. Oh mercy! This kid!

"Aonaran..." Yelena sniffed and in the verge of crying. I kneel down to hug her but to my shock, before I could hug her, she runs towards Ziv. So Ziv bent down to reach her.

Mirk tried to stop her but she just shouted!

"I hate you brother! I hate you Mirk Aonaran!"

"Stellify stop being stubborn!" Yelena just cry harder in Ziv chest. Mirk sighed hard but he frowned later.

"You hurt daddy! I don't why you're being like that!" I guess this my time to stop them.

"Yelena Stellify! Let's talk about this at home. Come down now or I'll tell your Dada that you're being stubborn! You don't dada to get mad, right baby?" She wipe her tears, trying to stop crying. After a minutes, she calmed down.

"Thank you, daddy! Even though mommy and Aonaran hates you, I still love you!" She said and kiss Ziv's cheeks! I think I'll die young because of this kids!

"They hate me?" Ziv ask softly, tenderly looking at Yelena, he's also caressing her hair gently which made Yelena giggled.

My heart ache while looking at them. This is our dream before, it's happening now but it's painful to know that this is just temporarily.

"I don't know why daddy. I'm aware that you left us but I can say that you love mommy! I saw your videos! The way you look at mommy and your genuine smiles while looking at her, I know that you're smitten!"

"I've never saw mommy smile the way she smiled before. Especially when she's with you! I love her smiles! I want to see it in person daddy! I wish to see it.. And I know, you're the only one who can do that. Can you do that daddy? Can you make mommy smile that way again?" She said cheerfully while looking at Ziv with pure of love and longing.

I suddenly feel embarrassed because of what Yelena said! I don't have the strength go look at Ziv so I just focused at Yelena.

"Stefilly, don't make me count!" Yelena hurriedly went down but before that he kissed Ziv cheeks again and smiled.

I can't help it but to look at Ziv, he looks happy and gentle. But the moment his eyes meet mine he became serious, the gentle and happy man I saw is gone.

I showed him the same intensity and I made sure that his aware that he saw my anger.

Mirk pulled Yelena harshly. But Yelena didn't complain.

"Mirk! Don't pull your sister that way!" He frowned again and glared at Ziv. This is not good.

He let go of Yelena and sighed.

"You listen to me twins! Let's talk about this at home! No marshmallows and chocolates for you!" They both protest but stayed silent.

"What a show!" Benjie suddenly appeared while laughing! I don't know if I should be glad or irritated to him!

Glad because he change the atmosphere or irritated because he just watched us instead of stopping us!

"Are you done?" He asked while looking at Ziv with a smirk.

"Yeah."

"Ok! Wait for us in the counter! Go ahead!" I nodded and went to the counter. I waited for almost 5 minutes before Benjie arrive, holding a black card between his fingers.

When he notice me looking at the card, he smirk again. This guy is being weird!

As I was putting my groceries the boys came out of nowhere and put bunch of things!

"Hey! That's too much!"

"It's ok, Shabby! Someone will pay for it!" Someone?

"I will!" I frowned! They are being weird and suspicious.

But I just let them, maybe I'll just give it to the street kids. For sure we won't be able to eat all of it!

I notice Ziv is talking someone on his phone.

He noticed that someone is looking at him, and his eyes and mine met. Like he knew that it's me who's looking at him. Which is true.

I look at Mirk who's close to him, his frowning and glaring at Ziv. I laugh, that's always my reaction to Ziv before. But when he notice me looking at him, he suddenly became serious and intimidating! Now I know why they are scared of me before!

I've got the feeling that the talk I'm talking about would be very serious and dangerous.
