As Rachel lifted her head to compliment Zech on his remarkable cooking skills, she was taken aback when his lips suddenly met hers in a deep, passionate kiss.

They shared this intimate moment for a few minutes, leaving Rachel breathless and overwhelmed with emotions. She had not expected Zech to be so forward but he was romantic.

When Zech finally released her, she tried to steady her breathing and looked up at him, ready to speak. But before she could utter a word, Zech beat her to it. He had been meaning to apologize to her so he wanted to do it now.

"Rachel, I know I messed up big time," Zech began, his voice filled with sincerity and regret. "My actions led us to this situation, and your decision to leave New York. I was foolish not to realize my true feelings for you back then.

I let my anger cloud my judgment, and I deeply regret it. I knew you were trying to do what you felt was right, and I appreciate that a lot, I understand your intentions."
