1:Confused.

"Staying under the roof of a tycoon who doesn't recognize your worth can be truly frustrating," Rowan muttered.

Despite my abilities, nature continues to vex me. I've been nothing but kind, so why is everything so hard to grasp? His thoughts were interrupted as the door swung open. "Sir, the manager is requesting the papers," said a servant in corporate attire.

"Darn it. Not again..." I mumbled under my

breath.

"They're not ready yet," Rowan responded.

"Alright, sir," the servant said, gave him a stern glare, and shut the door with a loud bang.

Upon hearing the door close, Rowan was taken aback. "I never expected that from a servant. He was so rude, and my reactions didn't seem to matter," Rowan said to himself.

Since Rowan's first day in the office, no one had appreciated his efforts. He had been underestimated by his colleagues, even the servants. This was all because of his boss, Zem. Zem was a friend of Rowan's father and his partner in founding the Saves Infoprenure Generation Company.

'Zem desired to travel the country and gather information.'

After the company's foundation, it became a vital part of the city. Different personnel and entities managed their various functions. Rowan's father, the largest shareholder, allowed Zem to run the company despite his attitude. This was to reveal Zem's true nature to him and other shareholders. Unknown to Rowan, Zem had secretive plans.

"What does he want?" Rowan wondered as he remembered the papers his boss asked him to sign. He glanced at his office, decorated with fine furniture, the company's name in elegant fonts on the wallpaper, and pictures of the shareholders on the wall.

Rowan walked to his table, opened a file, and scanned the paper. "I can't do this," he exclaimed. "How could Zem expect me to resign my position? It's despicable."

With a heart still burning with anger, he was about to sign the papers when his phone dinged for the fifth time. "Someone's being persistent," Rowan fumed, distracted again.

He checked his messages. Two were from Zem, one from his dad, and two from a client. The one from Zem took his breath away because he knew what Zem could do if he refused a client.

With clenched fists, he grabbed his phone and the papers and headed to Zem's office. Without a word to the secretary, he knocked and waited. Then he walked in.

"Greetings, Mr. Zem," Rowan said. "Bravo on your recent dealings. But, with all due respect, I can't do what you're asking. It would cause me to be absent, and my family might need me."

"And who said the office of the Regional Manager would be empty?" Zem asked.

Rowan banged the table in front of him. "My family needs me, right? What will be your gain if I resign? What will happen to your reputation if I sign the papers? What will people say?"

Zem gave no reply.

"I've reviewed the company's diary," Rowan continued, "and you heard me correctly. Let your heart not be weary, boss, but watch my next actions."

With those statements, Rowan walked out of Zem's office and returned to his own.
