Liliana blushed and then he ruined it. "I mean between me and that lady," he said. Not only did he ruin the small manageable expression on her face. He spoiled her mood and waited for her to say something. "She had been staring at me," he said.
"Everyone stares at people," she said.
"Uh?" He looked shocked so he smiled. "You don't want me to hire her?" He asked.
"W-what?"Liliana lied again. "You can do whatever you want!" She rolled over to sleep on her side wondering why she hated what he said just now. He was going to hire that girl, bring her to his house and fall in love with her? That was ridiculous! The girl didn't deserve such a handsome man and Tristan was too good to throw away so she aimed to turn around to face him but suddenly she felt something around her.
"Are you jealous?" His voice was smooth and calm. "You know I'm never attracted to any woman," he said.
"I wasn't jealous," she muttered. "Why would I be?" She added.
