The world we were in was similar to the version we had left. But somehow this one made me sick to the stomach. Pile of human corpses laid on the ground, some were burnt beyond recognition. A woman kneed on the ground, wailing as she cradled a corpse that belonged to a man I'm guessing is her husband. Half of his face was burnt and the other half was bruised.
I swallowed and looked away from the corpse, unable to stare at it any longer because if I did, there is a chance I'd end up vomiting all over the ground.
"What?" Tag'arkh asked from behind me. "You can't take it anymore?" She asks with a sneer.
I swallowed as I turned to look at the pile of bodies. "It's horrible."
"This is nothing compared to what they did to my family." Tag'arkh pointed out without any note of remorse in her tone.
