His beautiful chaos

Chapter 12.
Isabella walked behind, maintaining her pace. She stared at the beautiful artwork on the wall that led to the room of Mr. Genovese. Everything about the mansion seemed magnificent. She now understood why people were dying to enter into the Genovese villa.
Apart from a few servants, she met no one interesting on their way. It seemed most of the family members were not at home.
"He is expecting you," Mrs. Elizabeth said in the low tone when they stopped in front of one of the numerous doors upstairs. She turned and looked at Isabella. "Knock dear."
Isabella wondered why she asked to knock instead. She nodded and moved closer to the door and knocked. No one answered. A few seconds later, a bell rang and a smile appeared on Mrs. Elizabeth's face.
"We can go in now," she told her.
"Is that it?" Isabella asked foolishly. No word was uttered except for a bell. Mr. Nicholas was not a lame or blind man, so why didn't he answer the door?
Mrs. Elizabeth was the one who opened the door. They walked into the room and found a man on a wheel chair.
With the grey hair he had, Isabella knew that the man in wheel chair was the father of Mr. Nicholas. He turned around when he heard their footsteps.
She was not expecting him to be this handsome even though he was old; he had an effect on women. His pointed nose fitted his fine face. His perfect jaw was remarkable. Those lips that greeted them back were tempting and unpredictable.
Isabella pitied him for some seconds. He was in wheel chair because the sins his son committed. Sometimes children pay for their parent's mistakes but with Don Nicholas, it was different. He made his father paid for his crimes.
"Good morning, Mr. Genovese," Isabella greeted with a little bow. She was not sure if he liked the way she greeted or if he suspected anything. Miguel told her to be careful with the old man. He was retired don but smart. Sometimes he acted as a consiligere to his son. He would give the best and honest advice.
"Morning beautiful Isabella," a smile curved his face. He drove his chair to meet them. "Welcome."
"Thank you, Mr Genove…" she started.
"Call me VITO instead" he corrected her. If she keeps on calling him Mr. Genovese in the house where every man was Genovese, things might get mix up for her.
"Forgive me, sir' Mrs. Elizabeth apologized on her behalf. "She will get used to things around here soon."
"I understand, lizzy, Mr. Vito said, as he went back to the window side. Isabella noticed the way he spoke. It seemed like he was a man of few words. He spoke slowly and carefully. She wondered if all dons were like this.
Her eyes flew to the design of the room. She wanted to ask the reason for the beautiful but strange artwork. The bed was a king's size. It was well arranged with a white and blue bed sheets.
She noticed that there was a library in the room. Isabella admired it without alarming her new boss. She always wanted a library just like this one. Here, it was in Mr. Vito's bedroom.
"Do you need something else?" Mrs. Elizabeth asked him.
"Just a cup of coffee and tell my grandchildren to come when they are back from school,"
Mrs. Elizabeth smiled and walked out of the room. Beside her was the new caretaker. "Mr. Vito loves taking coffee. He takes with his herbs tea every morning and evening."
"Okay ma," I Isabella listened careful to the instructions given. She was told to mind her business whenever she passed a family member. Only greetings were allowed. If the others required her service, they will ask her for it, other than that, she was to take of Mr. Vito. He was her main focus.
Also, she was warned never to go to the other mansion without permission. The other members of the family lived there.
"But the building down the garden is out of bound even for some family members," Mrs. Elizabeth continued. She strode down the stairs carefully, ignoring the sound her heels made. "No one should send you up there. It is forbidden."
Isabella wanted to ask why it was so but Mrs. Elizabeth might fire her again. If the building was a link to Mr. Nicholas' crimes then, she would gladly enter the forbidden mansion.
"Last but not the least , avoid Don Nicholas if you don't want to get into trouble." She said, as they entered the kitchen. It was bigger than all the kitchens she had ever seemed. "He is handsome and charming but stay away. Do you understand?'
Okay, that was the part Isabella understood the most. Every one spoke about his beauty but all she could picture was his monstrous side. He was beast inside, confusing the people with his facial looks and fake identity.
"I have never thought of him as a sexy and handsome man," Isabella told her. "Do not worry about it. I won't fall for him."
"If you say so." Mrs. Elizabeth was impressed. However she did not show it. Time shall tell if nothing would happen between them.
