A/N: GIVE ME POWER-STONES PLEASE

Aimi jumped in surprise at the loud noise. "What the hell was that!?"

I chuckled and stood in front of her. I had a wide grin on my face. "Welcome to the Tokonosu firing range."

Behind me was a wide open forest with a see-through fence and sign in big letters. Behind the fence were two buildings and behind that were three separate paths leading to who knows where.

"This is… surprising. To be honest, I thought we would be going to a pleasant restaurant or maybe an arcade, but this is interesting. Why this?"

"First of all, I'm a better cook than any cook that worlds in a restaurant and for an arcade, we've done that plenty of times, plus I know you would rather play Minecraft at home with me than deal with rigged machines," I said before continuing.

"And the reason why I chose here was the anime we watched, remember? It was Assassination Classroom."

Hah, just thinking about it makes me depressed. Why couldn't Koro-sensei just live? I was in a depressive state for a whole 3 days because of it.

"Hah, I remember it," she said, sighing sadly.

"Well, anyway, I wanted to do something we haven't done, and this came to mind"

Although this is actually part of it, the main reason I wanted this was so we could at least have some mastery of handling guns. And since Aimi doesn't have a copying ability like me, a head start is good.

"Alright, let's see who's the better shot between us. The winner gets to ask the loser any request."

Walking inside the office building, we registered and paid the fee to enter and fire in the shooting range. Going to the direct shooting range, we went to the clerk to get a gun of our choice.

"Ok, so what gun do you want to try out", the clerk asked. "Depending on the gun, it will cost you. Do you first-timers need help with what gun to choose?"

"No thanks, I know what we'd like to get. I'd like to rent out the two earmuffs and two safety glasses. As for the guns, we'd like to rent a Glock 19, and an M206 please", I casually asked.

Aimi was shocked by how confidently I asked for the guns. I researched beforehand, of course.

"Nice choices for first-timers. Let me guide you to the range."

The clerk grabbed the guns and a box of ammo for each weapon. Aimi and I followed him out to the other building, the indoor range, on the way he explained the rules. Things like guns shouldn't be loaded unless you're at the range and with supervision, another was to always keep your finger off the trigger unless shooting and make sure to not point at anyone.

Though this will be useless when the apocalypse begins. Guns will be loaded. Aimed at both people and zombies alike. And to stay alive, the finger will always most likely be on the trigger.

Once we reached the range, the clerk spoke to one of his coworkers after a minute. The clerk's coworker set us up so we can shoot. Showing us a demonstration on how to shoot, I used the [ Emperor Eyes ] to copy his posture and control.

*Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!*

*Gun Change*

*Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!*

The instructor demonstrated how to shoot both guns, emptying half the clips in each. Looking at the target, he had exceptional skill, nowhere near Kohta's skill level, however.

Pressing the button, he brought back the target before switching them with new ones for Aimi and I. Handing us the guns, he said, "Now, it's your turn. Just relax and do what I taught you guys."

Grabbing the gun, I sat it down on the counter before putting on my safety glasses and earmuffs. The gun I was using was the Glock 19, so I had a remaining 8 shots left. Getting into stance, I waited for the staff to signal me when ready.

"Shoot when ready," he told me.

Taking a breath, I focused my vision and controlled my breathing before shooting.

*Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!*

The entire clip was empty now. Putting the gun down, I turned around to see the shocked looks of Aimi and the instructor. Pressing the button to bring the target back, I examined it and it was as I expected. The shots that I fired made a smiling face around the target's neck, head, and upper body like the heart.

"Young man, have you used a firearm before?" the instructor asked.

I shook my head, "Nope. This is my first time shooting. I just copied what you did."

"Why didn't you tell me you had such an ability?" Aimi said with a pout.

"I didn't exactly hide it. Besides, it's just a skill you develop by observing." I said, toning down what I just did.

"Okay, now grab the gun and hold it out in front of you with both hands.", I said, walking behind Aimi.

Grabbing the gun that was on safety, she held it out a bit. She had her elbows tucked and her hands were about a foot away from her chest. "Not like that, like this", I said, grabbing her hands.

Aimi became a little flushed before leaning back into me with a grin. Staring into her eyes, I lowered my voice and said, "When holding a gun, keep your arms out. This way the recoil of the gun won't come back and hit you"

Slowly fixing Aimi's grip on the gun, her right hand would hold the handle and her left would hold the base of her right hand. "Make sure your lands are like this, so you'll have total control over the gun.", I whispered in her ear.

The intimate atmosphere surrounding us made the instructor and any other bystanders leave. It was getting annoying having to deal with the stares we were getting, and if they had stayed any longer, I wouldn't be surprised if Aimi had shot them.

Aimi was standing calmly as she aimed the pistol outwards. She made sure to follow my tips. After taking a deep breath, she removed the safety and pressed down on the trigger.

*Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!*

"Oh, my god!" Aimi screamed in shock and surprise. It was her first time shooting a gun. Placing the gun back on the table carefully. She turned around and jumped on me. "That was amazing!"

I held her up, "You did great, Aimi!"

Lowering her down, her stomach grumbled. Looking down with a blush, I just laughed.

"Alright, let's go back home."

Returning the weapons back to the shopkeeper, Aimi, and I took the bus and went back home.

Finally arriving home, we put the groceries in the fridge.

"You can go relax, Aimi. I'll cook today."

Nodding, she went to the living room and laid down on the couch, and turned on the TV. She was watching the anime One Punch Man as I recommended it to her.

Today's is the last day there will be any normalcy in this world so I decided to make the first dish I made in this world as a commemorative of when I first arrived in this world.

I grabbed the ingredients I needed from the fridge and put them on the kitchen counter. Washing the ingredients clean, I started to cut the ingredients so it would be cooked faster and could absorb the seasoning better.

After I cut down the ingredients, I put all of them into the pot. Once I was done with nikujaga, I quickly washed the rice and cooked it in the rice cooker. Now we just have to wait a couple of minutes.

Now that the food was done, I opened the lid of the pot where I cooked the nikujaga.

'The smell is very good…'

The smell of the nikujaga was very delicate, but it was delicious and it permeated through the kitchen. I could smell the smell of beef, potato, carrot, onion, and seasonings from the nikujaga.

"Now then it's time to eat!" I said loud enough so Aimi can hear me.

I then took a bowl, and put a substantial amount of nikujaga in the bowl, and placed it on the table.

*Ding*

I knew that the rice was ready, so I walked back to the rice cooker and steam welcomed me. I caught a whiff of the smell of freshly cooked rice and it made my appetite unbearable.

"Itadakimasu~" we said in unison.

Tomorrow the carnage will begin.
