"That was not how I expected to start Christmas day." James said just after he, Scathach, Irene, and Ayame teleported back into their home.

"Agreed." Irene said. "On top of that, sunrise is only a couple hours away."

"Yes, I believe it would be best if we all got some rest." Scathach said.

Nodding in agreement, Ayame followed James up the stairs along with Scathach. Meanwhile, Irene headed to the elevator to get to her own bedroom.

"I guess, you two plan on sleeping in my bed tonight, huh?" James asked with a smile. "Not that I'm complaining."

"That was the plan all along." Scathach said. "Although, I doubt we would have only slept before we were interrupted."

"Yeah, I get the feeling things would have been rather... exciting." Jaemes said with a lecherous smile.

After a few moments, the trio reached James' bedroom door. After opening it, James was caught off guard when he found Rias, Sona, Akeno, Mizore, Moka, Flora, Shuna, and Yasaka sleeping in his bed.

Scathach then turned away from James and began walking toward his bed sensually. The next morning, James woke up shortly after sunrise, around 6:50 a.m., to a pleasant feeling around his crotch. "Jumped the gun and took all the shots, too." Akeno interrupted.

"Shut up, Akeno." Rias said in annoyance. "Anyway, if it weren't for you three, we might have all got some morning action."

"Calm down, Rias." Sona said, putting her glasses on. "Don't forget we've got a surprise lined up for tonight."

Hearing that, all the ladies in the room began to smile seductively. Then, as James suggested, they made their way back to their own rooms, except for Flora and Yasaka who don't live int eh estate. And got cleaned up. Flora and Yasaka, on the other hand, used James' bathroom to get gleaned up.

While everyone else in the mansion was either bathing or still sleeping, James was in the training room pushing his body to the limit. In his fight with Acnologia, although he won, not only did he allow the Evil Dragon to escape, he also almost destroyed his own body in the process.

Without his Super Devil form, James physical body and demonic energy are strong enough to sustain [Tyrant Dragon Domination Drive] for hours in combat. However, when he adds his Super Devil form into the mix, the strain on his body, even when it is broken down into petal-blades, is more than he can handle.

As stated previously, if James could have [Boosted] even once during his battle with Acnologia, he would have had no issue taking the Apocalypse Dragon's life. Unfortunately, if he had [Boosted] his power, he would have more than likely exploded, painting the Familiar Forest with his blood and innards.

To make up for this shortcoming, James has been raising the intensity of his physical training exponentially. On top of raising the weight when lifting, James also had Scathach put runes on him that raised the force of gravity he experienced by twenty times.

"Dragon Ball is bullshit!" James grunted while squatting two hundred tons. "No matter how strong I am, the pressure the extra gravity is putting on my inner organs is ridiculous. And Zenkai Boosts are manga's greatest cheat ability."

As James did his work out, he complained constantly. At the same time, he knew that he was strengthening his body at a much faster rate than he was before. At some point, after she finished bathing, Scathach came down to the training room.

'His dedication to growing stronger is awe inspiring.' Scathach thought to herself as she watched James train while listening to his complaints. 'Soon, I, too, will step into the major god-rank. And I think my runes are the key.'

Like that, time flew by until it was around nine in the morning. By now, all the residents were awake and those who were responsible for cooking had made a breakfast big enough for everyone in the house, and a few more, to enjoy.

"Are Tatsuya and Miyuki coming over today?" Leona asked while making a plate for Cassiel.

"Yeah." James replied while piling eggs onto his own plate. "Tatsuya said they wouldn't be going to their family's main house. Apparently, they don't get along well with their aunt, who is their guardian, too well."

"That's a shame." Evangeline said after taking a sip of orange juice. "Why don't you invite them to join your peerage, James. At least they wouldn't have to worry about being alone on holidays anymore."

"I planned on it, actually." James replied. "I'm not sure what pieces they'll end up with, though. The uncertainty makes it kind of exciting, though."

A moment later, two teleportation circles appeared in the mansion's living room. A total of seven people came out of those two teleportation circles. A few moments later, Venelana, Zeoticus, Grayfia, Millicas, Rhea, Dante, and Serafall made their way into the dining room.

When Sona saw her sister walk into the room, she expected to be hugged and smothered relentlessly. To her surprise, however, Serafall rushed over to James instead.

"Jay-Kun! Jay-Kun!" Serafall shouted excitedly as she ran over to James. "Your new manga, I love it! And Mami is adorable. Let me read what comes next, please!"

Hearing Serafall's exclamations, not only James, but Mizore, James' manga assistant, also smiled mischievously.

"Nope." James replied with a smile. "You have to wait patiently like everybody else."

"Jay-Kun, you're such a meanie." Serafall aid with a pout.

"Don't worry, Sera-Tan." James said while patting Serafall on the head. "I guarantee, you've never seen anything like what's coming next."

With that, James went back to eating his breakfast while Serafall continued to pester him for spoilers. At the same time, Mizore looked at James and Serafall's interaction and couldn't help muttering under her breath.

"James, you're so bad."

"Bad, what do you mean?" Venelana asked curiously.

"Don't worry about it, Auntie Venelana." Mizore said. "If I told you, then I'd be spoiling the surprise."

"At that moment, another visitor arrived int eh dining room.

"Mizore!" Shirayuki Tsurara shouted after entering the dining room.

"Kaa-San!" Mizore shouted back after hearing her mother's voice.

Then, Mizore shot out of her seat and dashed to her mother. The mother-daughter pair then hugged happily, before Tsurara whispered into Mizore's ear.

"Is he willing to help us repopulate yet?" Tsurara asked in a hushed tone.

"Kaa-San~." Mizore whined. "I thought we agreed to drop that topic."

"You can't blame me for asking." Tsurara said with a giggle. "He would help raise the potential of the yuki-onna."

"Kaa-San, just stop." Mizore said in an exasperated tone.

Like that, Christmas breakfast went by in a very happy mood.
