Out of the Lake

Looking at the monster the boy had no hints of fear. As the saying goes a new born cub fears nothing, in this case though this boy has the curiosity of a newborn.

For a second the beast looked at the boy, then as if the beast was going to eat the boy just like the carcasses floating out of the water with its seaweed tentacles. The strange thing though is that as soon as the seaweed tentacles reached and rapped around the boy, instead of dragging the boy deeper into the water, the beast lifted the boyout of the water and moved him over the top of the waters.

It only took a couple seconds for the boy to be lifted all the way across the water and onto the blue sand shore but in those couple seconds the boy got more curios the closer he got. The closer he got the shinier the sand seemed and the more details he could see.

When the beast finally set the boy down the first thing the boy did was put his hand on the sand to check if it was like the water, even if he was half laying on it. Feeling the rough texture but how smooth the sand split apart, the boy became even more curious.
