Inside the picnic hut, located a hundred meters away from the mansion.
Jake, the blind heir, and his nurse, Alfie... were currently eating their snack after they finished their horseback riding session.
"So, what do you think of your bride to be, Sir?" Alfie asked his ward.
Jake snorted. "You asked me? I haven't seen her!"
"I know...but I heard from your mother that this woman looks like your fiancee. I'm curious to see how beautiful this Helen is!" Alfie said.
He fell silent for a moment.
Through the years, Madam Kristy has been bringing several women in the house and on the farm to get closer to her son but those women quit in the end. Jake's heart is simply dead, it died the moment his beloved fiancee died from cancer.
"I don't care if she is the most beautiful woman in the world! She means nothing to me," Jake said in a bored voice. He already resigned to his fate to stay single for the rest of his life.
