By the time Jake was brought into the room accompanied by his parents, they were already relaxing on the sofa bed, drinking ice-cold cola taken from the fridge.
The Johnson couple went grocery shopping yesterday and filled the fridge with food, fruits, and drinks.
The male nurse finished settling the bed inside the room and took his leave afterward.
Kristy went to bed. "Son, would you like to eat fruits? We have ripe bananas, apples, grapes, and oranges in the fridge," she offered.
"Ah, I miss eating grapes!" Jake roared.
Helen rose to her feet. "I'll do it, Auntie!" she volunteered and went to the fridge. She took a platter from the dish rack and put the grapes on it. She brought it to the bed and gave it to Kristy.
