Welcome Home!

Miller Mansion.

After breakfast, Helen and her stepmother Donna are the only ones left in the house.

Helen approached her stepmother in the garden carrying her traveling bag. "Mother, I'm leaving the house today..." she said.

Donna looked at her in surprise. "W-where are you going? But this is your home, you don't have to go anywhere!"

Helen released a deep sigh. "I should leave the house for a few days so that their mood will improve," she explained.

Donna understood what Helen meant to say with her statement. "I guess you are right. Just let them chill for a few days, I'm sure they will come around."

"Thank you for your understanding, Mother," Helen spoke in a grateful voice.

Donna smiled. "Call me anytime if you need my help..."

"Yes, I will. Thank you!" Helen replied.

"By the way, do you have a place to stay?" Donna inquired.
