The doctor returned to the private room to check on Jake's eyes.
"How are you doing, Jake? How are your eyes?" the doctor asked.
Jake smiled brightly. "My vision is better and clearer than yesterday, doc!" he answered in high spirit.
"That's great! As days go by, your vision will get clearer. Did you feel any discomfort with your eyes as of today?" the doctor asked.
Jake shook his head. "No pain and discomfort, doc," he answered.
"That's great! You are on your way to a full recovery. Then you will begin having facial surgery to erase that scar in the area near your eyes and after that. You can finally go home back to your country," the doctor stated.
"Thank you so much, doc!" Jake said.
"Alright, since everything is okay, I will take my leave now," the doctors said and looked at the Johnson couple, giving them a bright smile.
"Thank you for the visit, doc!" Kristy said.
