GRANDPA'S WISH

AIDEN POV:

As I was in my car on my way to the hospital, I was thinking about her words, she feels sorry for that kiss. I was so angry with her words, after finishing my work I saw that she was sleeping peacefully with two books, huh, who read two books at the same time. I went towards her and just as I took the books, I was shocked, she was reading my latest book and she was hiding it from me with that magazine, great who is this girl, I can never understand her.

While she was sleeping I was looking at her face, while sleeping she looks like an angel, but otherwise, she acts like a demon. Robert informed me, that she has sent me that money also, she is so stubborn, but this girl is surely different from all the other women I have met in my life, she returned the money to Aiden Williams, which is really a big thing. While looking at her I couldn't control my desires any longer so I decided to leave from there.

Rebecca was waiting for me in my room, I went there and released all my pent-up frustrations. While I released, suddenly beautiful emerald eyes came in front of me and I was just shocked, I left Rebecca and took a cool shower, I have to stay away from her, very very far away.

That's what I did, I completely ignored her, and now I have reached my destination.

"Hey Aiden, come inside, grandpa is waiting for you". Noah spoke

Ya, I am coming, by the way, Noah, how is he doing, what are his test reports, is everything normal?

"Chill dude, take a deep breath first, ya I have spoken with the doctor, and he told us, that grandpa is having some sort of inner turmoil and tension. They asked us to keep him happy and stress-free, otherwise, he may suffer a heart attack."

I was so shocked to know all this, why is grandpa so stressed?

I will talk with him Noah, don't worry.

I went inside his room and saw grandpa sleeping soundly.

Grandpa, I sat beside him, he slowly opened his eyes and looked at me.

"Oh Aiden, when did you come, ".

Grandpa, please tell me what is worrying you so much, why are you so stressed

"Son, I want something from you, but I know that you will not be able to keep my wish. It is your life, Aiden I don't want to interfere with your life, but I have my worries, so don't worry son, I know I can handle myself."

Grandpa what are you saying, please tell me I will complete all your wishes.

"Don't tell me something which you can't keep Aiden, I don't want your broken promises".

Grandpa, what did I do, that you are so upset with me?

"You did nothing son, go home and rest, they are discharging me in a few hours".

I will do anything whatever you say, I promise.

"Ok, I will tell you my wish but you have to keep that wish, can you keep it"

Yes, I can.

"Ok so Aiden, I have selected a beautiful girl for you, she has all the qualities to become your wife, and my wish is you have to marry her".

I was shocked, what the hell, marriage, I don't believe in that shit.

Grandpa you know I don't believe in marriage and commitment, how can I keep this promise?

"I knew you will not keep your promise, it's ok I don't have any expectations from you, go home, I need to rest."

The first time he asked something from me, and I rejected it, he turned to the other side and closed his eyes.

I got out of his room and Noah was waiting outside.

You heard everything right.

Noah just shrugged and hugged me.

"Aiden grandpa is really serious, he wants you to settle in your life, what he is asking from you is a very little thing, if he would ask me something like that, I would easily give him that. Think buddy, he has done everything for you and Dree, he loves you two so much, he just wants to see you get married."

Noah, you know everything, I don't believe in those shits, I can't even think of marrying someone.

"Look Aiden, just think a bit more and meet the girl, you never know you may like her, and you don't have to stay married forever, we can go for some contract marriage also, just take a bit more time."

I went straight towards my car and went to my apartment, I need a drink asap.

What Noah is telling me, that can be arranged right, I mean everyone falls for money and big life, we can get a contract before marriage, and that girl won't interfere with my life and lead a separate life, she will get all sorts of privilege for being my wife, that's it. I can lead my life happily on my own terms and grandpa will also be happy.

Ok, grandpa, I am ready to get married, I texted him.
