Kate's Birthday

Chapter 1: The plan

Kate was an unusual girl. She had superpowers. She was also an orphan. She didn't know it, but her parents were superheroes. They had left her in n orphanage and went off to fight some villains. Kate had quickly escaped the orphanage. Since then, she had been living in hotels and empty houses. Kate had been moving around her whole life and had slept in many different places, but this was the best. A wealthy family had gone on holiday for a few weeks, and Kate "rented" their mansion while they were gone. She was not going to stay for long, however. Her birthday was in three days, and she was going to her favourite hotel. She was going to fly to the hotel in the dead of night, check the admissions list and steal an empty room for the day.
