Meeting(2)

The next day:

Lisa went to her office. It was an important day for her. She was going to meet the President of Incoda Technologies. She heard rumors about him. People say that he was so scary and he was extremely hard to deal with. She too, wanted to see the person she is always compared with. She was confident but also nervous. Confident because of her plan, her proposal. Nervous because she was going to meet the President to Incoda. Oh my God.

It was ten in the morning, and Lisa was working on some other projects. Very few projects are there that she personally handled. Incoda Technologies is one of those. Though she views every project. The vice-president is in charge of checking all the projects. She is very strict regarding this matter. The vice-president is a very trusted person and is close to Lisa.

11:45 p.m.:

A wide row of cars stopped in front of Scarlett Inc. All passerby were gawking at the cars, especially the one in the middle. It was limited edition Bugatti Divo. The cool black and sleek design, everything about the car was just wow. People could only look at the car from a distance. It was out of reach for them. The receptionist was alarmed due to the commotion. 'What happened early in the morning?', she thought inwardly.' She sent the security to inquire about the situation. They returned flustered. "Miss, Mr. Oliver Atkins is here and hence the commotion outside is because of him and his car."

" Alright, let me inform the President."

"President, Mr. Oliver Atkins is here."

"Hm."

Lisa instructed Jose and Max to manage the security. She instructed the vice-president to escort them to the meeting room. She instructed Susan to place the necessary documents in the meeting room. She also told her to prepare the meeting room before they reached.

After making the necessary arrangements, she too, headed towards the meeting room.

At 11:59 am, she entered the meeting room.

"Good morning everyone."

"Good morning", everyone greeted in response. She sat down in her seat. Opposite her she thought she would see Mr. Oliver Atkins, but she saw him sitting at the right side. When she faced the table, she saw that person. On seeing him, it felt like the world has come to a standstill. She stared at him unblinkingly. He, in returned stared at her dumbfounded. 'So, this is the reason Oliver dragged me here. This brother of mine deserves a huge gift.'

Oliver smiled at the two, who were staring at each other. "Cough cough" He cleared his throat but those two still didn't notice him.

He elbowed his elder brother who broke out from his reverie and at the same time said, "Hello, Miss Lisa let me introduce to you, my elder brother and the President of Incoda Technologies, Mr. Robert Atkins."

"Um, hello Miss Lisa.", Robert said in a deep magnetic voice, the voice which can tug at your heartstrings.

"Hello, Mr. Atkins, pleasure meeting you.", Lisa said trying hard to maintain professionalism in her voice. The sweet voice, with a nervous edge sounded lovely. Warmth filled him. He was floating on the clouds in his mind, but had to keep a straight poker face in front of the employees. God only knows how much he wants to hug the woman in front of him.

Lisa straightened her back and got up to give the presentation. Her speech, explanation were above par. She was a true genius. The executives of Incoda Technologies were in awe. They had never seen anyone other than their Big Boss, giving such presentation, especially such a young lady.

The meeting happened really quick. Everything was discussed and they signed the contract. Everyone left except Robert, Oliver, Lisa and Ruby(Vice-president of Scarlett Inc.).

Robert turned to Oliver, "Go to the office and take care of all the work. I shall take leave for an indefinite period. Don't call me unless there is an emergency."

"Okay bro."

"Ruby, you can leave.", Lisa said.

"Meanwhile, let's go to my office.", Lisa said to Robert.

She led the way, her high heels clicking on the marbe as she waked towards her office. Robert followed her. Soon, they reached her office. Robert stepped in first and Lisa came inside and closed the door. As soon as the door closed, Robert turned around and trapped her in his strong muscular arms. He inched closer to Lisa's face until the tip of their noses touched. He rubbed his nose with hers. Their eyes met and glued onto each other. Silence prevailed. Only their breaths and heartbeats could be heard.
