CHAPTER 43 Something Unexpected

　　DAVID'S POV

　　I watched as Anna shook Caroline and I knew that Caroline wasn't happy seeing me with another woman.

　　I just couldn't understand why she came over to my office telling me that she wanted me back when she was clearly engaged to be married.

　　I had told myself that I wouldn't let her win and that I must never let her get to me. Then when Anna stood up for me and acted like a jealous fiancee, it made me feel a little better.

　　"Yeah, I know you. We met at the jewelry store that day when you guys were shopping for a ring." Caroline explained, still holding Anna's hand.

　　"We are getting married as well, but a low key thing. So I came to see my fiance so that we discuss meeting his parents when I saw you in my fiance's office.

　　I honestly don't know your history with him, but there's one thing I know and that's the fact that he belongs to me now and as I belong to him now." Anna smiled and looked at me.
