Hong Xu lay weakly in Qin Fanze's arms completely weak and exhausted from the hot passion they had just shared.

Qin Fanze was very satisfied and kissed her on the forehead, almost forgetting that he had lost forty-five percent of shares.

Min Tang pushed open the door and hopped into the car excitedly.

"Wow!", Min Tang exclaimed loudly when he saw Qin Mei's stunning face. He had never seen anyone so pretty in his entire life!

"You...", Qin Mei also immediately recognized him. She had seen him on TV a few times and had heard a lot about him and his unbreakable record.

She never expected to meet such a big shot in reality but now he was right before her and sitting with her in a car.

"Ninth brother, your wife is really the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. I can't help but feel that she seems very familiar, like I've seen her somewhere before.", Min Tang held his chin trying to recollect where he had seen her.

And it did work, the temperature immediately returned to normal.

Huo Xinhan opened his mouth to say something but was interrupted by the sound of Qin Mei's phone ringing.

Qin Mei saw the caller and immediately rolled her eyes but still answered the call.

"Qin Mei!", A lady roared loudly into the phone, her voice filled with extreme anger.

Fortunately, Qin Mei had predicted it and sent the phone a bit further away from her ears.

"What is it?", Qin Mei brought the phone closer to her ears after a few seconds and spoke up, her voice somewhat cold which stunned Huo Xinhan.

He had never seen this side of his little wife, seemed like there was more about her which he did not know.

"Where the hell have you been? I've been calling you the whole day and you dared to switch off the phone!", Cai Yu was so angry that she was panting as she spoke. Cai Yu was Qin Mei's agent from Starlight entertainment company.

"That's none of your business, why did you call?", Qin Mei asked in a slightly lazy tone.

Cai Yu had been assigned to Qin Mei two years ago when Qin Mei had joined the company.

Starlight entertainment was a topnotch company which belonged to Huo Zilan. Unfortunately, no one else apart from Cai Yu knew that Huo Zilan and Qin Mei were in a relationship.

However, Cai Yu had been in cahoots with Qin Mingmei who was also signed under the company and always tried to suppress Qin Mei.

Due to this, despite being in the entertainment circle for two years, Qin Mei had not made a name for herself and was barely known.

"You dare to ask? You were supposed to show up yesterday evening for the dinner with the investors, where the hell were you fooling around?", said Cai Yu in an annoyed voice.

"Oh please. Dinner? You were blatantly asking me to sleep with those old and greezy investors and you dared to call it a dinner? Cai Yu, do you really think I'm a fool?", Qin Mei snorted coldly.

"Qin Mei! How dare you speak to me like that? I was only trying to help you! Fine, come to the company immediately!", Cai Yu said.

"Why? Do you have any scripts for me?", Qin Mei asked in a mocking voice.

"Qin Mei! If I ask you to come then you come! Is that clear?", Cai Yu was so impatient and annoyed, she had always hated how Qin Mei acted all high and mighty around her.

"Cai Yu, do you think I'm your dog? To show up at your every beck and call? You had better have a good reason for calling me over or else I'm not stepping a foot into that company!", Qin Mei threatened coldly!

Fortunately, she had always been smart and always managed to avoid those so called dinners arranged by Cai Yu. Her excuse had always been Huo Zilan but now that they had broken up, she was going to be stronger and bolder! No one was going to force her to do anything she did not want to do!

"Fine, I'll have you take a look at a few scripts. Come over immediately", Cai Yu then hung up.

In the office, she angrily scattered everything around her. Qin Mingmei had informed her that Qin Mei and Huo Zilan had broken up so why was Qin Mei still acting all high and mighty? She was just an illegitimate daughter, a nobody! A nobody who was not even wanted by her own family!

Qin Mei put her phone back into her bag and lifted her head only to see Huo Xinhan staring straight at her. He seemed to have only her in his eyes and his eyes were filled with amusement.

Qin Mei's face immediately turned red when she remembered how cold she was on the phone just now.

She wondered what Huo Xinhan's reaction would be if he found out that she was not as innocent as she seemed but could be cunning and scheming sometimes. Would he be disappointed. Then what would be his reaction when he found out her most hidden and deepest secret?

Huo Xinhan saw through her thoughts and immediately pulled her into his embrace.

"It doesn't matter the kind of person you are, I will still love you no matter what", Huo Xinhan's hot breath sprayed over her neck causing her ears to immediately turn red.

At this moment, Qin Mei did not notice that she had somehow started to care about this man whom she barely knew.
