His Decision

Muntaha was currently sitting in the corner of one of the mosques in Country Z. He sat cross legged reciting the holy Quran that rested on the Rehal.( An X-shaped foldable book rest used for placing holy books during recitation. )

An old man sat beside him, correcting him from time to time. Muntaha's sonorous and sympathetic recitations resonated in the empty space. The rhythmic nature of the verses of the Quran flawed beautifully as his voice took to the familiar yet strange words quite perfectly.

It had been a week. A week since his conversion to Islam. At first he had thought of converting for Rumeysa but then being the mature man that he was, he thought through it all before coming to a conclusion.

He recalled how peaceful he felt every time he heard the recitations of the Quran. All his beautiful childhood memories were made with his late father who taught him the beauty of Islam.
