Chapter 3

Melissa's POV

"You're coming with me,"I said in a murderous voice.

I'm pretty sure my voice sounds demonic but I don't give a flying fuck. Killing someone because your bored is crazy, it's insane.

"W-what? W-why? Please don't kill me... I'll do anything you want me to do but please... I beg you....spear my life... Please,"he weeped.

God this situation is giving me a major headache.

"Dude, I never said I was gonna kill you but I need you to come with me..... let's go."

He didn't have a chance to reply as I walked away.

*At the pack*

Shit! The guards are on patrol at the west gate, shit shit shit shit SHIT!!!!

Ok so in case you haven't noticed,my family doesn't know about all of this. Quite frankly...the only person in the family who I thought wouldn't give a shit about me,is the one behaving like I'm 2 years old.

"Easton the west gate is blocked. The guards are on patrol, I need a diversion 'cas I'm bringing a guess and I don't want him being found out just yet,"I wispered.

"Okay got it, just sit back and watch what I can do love,"I could basically hear the smirk in what he just said.

"Yah right, when it's done I'll be impressed babe,"I scoffed.

"..."

"That's what I thought."

**Five minutes later**

BOOM

And I knew that was our queue to move in as soon as that coast was clear. In less than 10 seconds all the guards had left to go see what was happening.

"Here"I threw a bottle at Josh"spray some of this on yourself, it'll mask your scent until we reach our destination,"I explained.

Without replying he did as he was told.

"Ok let's get going before they realize it's a distraction."

**Two minutes later**

"Ok Easton I'm back, keep an eye on Josh for me I'm gonna go take a shower,"I said walking into our little cabin. I could hear him coming around the corner with a bag of chips.

"Ok cool,go take your shower I'll wa....why the fuck do you look like that?"he screamed thinking it's my blood.

"In my defense, I did say I was gonna take a shower and I just killed a few rogues. Calm down, it's not my blood... not even a little bit I promise."

He let out a heavy sigh, that it almost blew down the cabin....get it 'cas he's a wolf and blowing down the house...ahh nevermind.

In walked away and into the bathroom. Stripping down out of my black leather jacket and pants along with my combat boots. Releasing my hair from it's high ponytail and stepping into the shower. I turned on the warm water allowing the blood to wash off of my body watching it freely flow down the drain. The water continued changing from it's beautiful crystal color to red everytime the water hit my body.

Picking up my favorite grape shampoo, I quickly applied it to my hair then washing my body clean. Stepping out of the bathroom and into my room wrapped in a towel, I started looking for something to wear.

After ten minutes of searching, I finally decided on some gray sweatpants and a black hoodie along with a pair of black converse.... what? I have to walk back home so that Ryan keeps his heart on the left side of his chest and not on the floor.

I hurriedly made my way back to the sitting to find Easton on the floor and Josh nowhere in sight. I was petrified beyond a doubt.

"Easton wake up! Where's Josh?"my anger seeping up every cell in my body.

"Wha-,huh?"I asked confused.

"What the hell do you mean "huh?" Where's Josh? I told you to watch him while I go take a shower, so where is he?"I argued.

"Oh that Josh..he ahmm he went to the bathroom then he said he was hungry so I told him to go kind the kitchen,"  he finished looking all smug.

"Pray we find him or otherwise...tsk tsk tsk," I said in a demonic tone. He only response I got was him gulping... marvelous.

I ran outside in search of Josh when I realized that his scent was nowhere out here and I left him with.... Easton.

Turning around at lightening speed,the big idiot wasn't behind me. When I find him, I'm going to slit his throat then feed him to the hounds of hell.

"EASTON GET YOUR ASS OUT HERE,NOW!!!!"I yelled at the top of my lungs.

Easton's POV

I was trying so hard not to laugh. I was just getting back at her for what she said. I convinced Josh to stay in my lab -  which by has sound proof walls. I then layed down on the floor look I was knocked out or something. When she ran into the sitting room and saw me like that, I had to bite back the laugh and continue with my fantastic acting.

Right now, I was hiding behind some berry bushes and silently laughing to myself when I heard her voice boomed.

"EASTON GET YOUR ASS OUT HERE,NOW!!!!" I began praying to the goddess immediately. I was fucking shaking in my boots,my feet feels like jelly and all the amusement that I had was long gone and was replaced by fear.

I could hear the wheels turning in her head, probably thinking about all the different ways in which she could kill me.

I could hear her walking over to where I was, twigs were snapping under her foot until everything suddenly went quiet...too quiet - I literally couldn't hear anything around for over ten minutes. There was not a creature making the slightest sound and I was petrified,jelly in my feet and paler than a vampire. My heart was pounding in my chest and I was trying so desperately to control my breathing.....and I was failing miserably.
