One step ahead

Jasmine sat by the river, a sketch pad in hand. She was in her usual getaway, enjoying the warmth of the sun. Looking around the park, it was crowded with people from all walks of life.

Their age varied from infants to very elderly persons. Everyone was with their family or friends as they used the chance to relax their minds. Jasmine wasn't a great fan of crowded places but she enjoyed watching others make good memories.

Her agenda was different from everyone else. She looked around trying to see if the person she was waiting for has shown up. What better place to meet with someone than a park? It would neither be suspicious nor eye-catching due to the big crowd and the busy streets.

A young slender girl walked towards where Jasmine sat. Her outfit was nothing special. From the first impression, she would pass off as an average jane. Her straight blond hair rested on her back, as the wind swayed it from side to side.
