Daniel acted as if nothing happened, while Megan was blushing, seeing the change in her face, and how she reacted to his touch, Daniel smiled happily in his heart, if he can't fairly get her, Daniel thought he was going to seduce her into him, but signed in his heart, that she was having even more strong influence on him, when his body was so hot, the torture that he was going through after he touched Megan was hell... Daniel drove the car at full speed, while Megan closed her eyes, slept, when it was halfway, Megan moved herself into a comfortable position, put her head on Daniel's shoulder, snuggled into his warmth... Daniel curled up his lips, it's been years... That his minion had slept like this, he smiled, looked at the sleeping girl in his arms whom he had missed every second of his life in this past five years, who had suffered so much because she only loved and married him, it was not fair, that he had not protected her properly, he will avenge his little wife for all her suffering, when the thought of it came, Daniel picked up his mobile and called Eric...

"Eric, it's me..."

"Yes Boss"

"Call Franklin, tell him... The torture for both Becka and her Father should be ten times more than normal"

Eric was dumbfounded by what he heard, ten times... After that, the call was cut... Crystal was acting as if she was looking out, but was contrasting on the conversation between two men. So they have someone in captivity... After three hours of drive, the two cars reached their destiny, Christine had booked them a star hotel when Eric and Crystal walked to Daniel, Daniel gestured to them not to talk, by putting his finger in his lips, Crystal was surprised by seeing Megan sleeping like a baby in Daniels's arms it was the first time she had seen Megan sleep, while they are on a business trip, Megan could always sit with her laptop, analysing the land, design, workmanship, all the way she will talk about the project, it used to be like a meeting room, more than a car, but today... She thought, how comfortable she was in his arms, so relaxed, happy... Then thought if she can help them to get back together, she will do anything without a thought.

Daniel slowly carried her in his embrace, walked out of the car, while Eric got the room card, and gave it to Daniel, Daniel carried Megan to her room, it was not a very luxurious room, but was good, he laid her on the bed, tucked her carefully, was very conscious not to wake her up, when Daniel was done... He turned to Crystal and said

"There is still time for a site visit, so let her sleep for some more time, when she wakes up, call Eric... There is no hurry"

As he said he walked out to his room, which was opposite to them, after half an hour Megan woke up, to see she was in a different place when Crystal came out of the washroom and looked at Megan with a smile...

"How did I get here..."

"Guess..."

"Did I sleep in the car, did...did... He carry me here....Really"

Thinking all the people in this hotel could have seen him carry her, she was so embarrassed, wanted to bury herself, but one side of her was happy, thinking... She had him to rely on... But for how many more days, thinking about it, Megan's heart broke again, when she was settled with her thoughts, Mega got up and walked to wash, when Crystal called Eric...

When Megan came out of her room, the doors of the opposite room too opened, making Megan stop on her tracks, Daniel was dressed casually, in black jeans, with a white body-hugging T-shirt, a black leather jacket holding in his hand, showing all his strong muscles to feast, his hair roughly touseled, he looked younger than his actual age, he was so handsome, charming, Megan thought, this is how he looked when he was dating her, but turned away her eyes, not to be so evident, that she was hitting on him... Daniel couldn't hold on to his laugh, seeing how Megan was reacting, but at the same time he was mesmerised by her beauty, she was in a simple yellow half shoulder floral dress, with a mesh jacket, that reached her knee, with a cane hat, a sneaker, she looked simple but so beautiful, while these both were lost in the world, no one noticed Eric...

Eric knew his madam was a beauty like always, but he was rooted when he saw the other person, walking out with some files, struggling, to hold the files and wear her sandal, Crystal, was so charming in her ocean blue bottom A-line boho ankle-length dress, when finally he reached to Crystal, picked the files in her hands, and said

"Why can't you ask for help, look at you, you would have fallen... Why are you so careless about yourself "

Crystal was shocked at his attitude, she didn't expect Eric to say things like that to her, it's been a long time since someone really said these words to her after they have grown up, it was always her mother, who used to scold her, for not caring about her, her eyes clouded, thinking of her mother... Whom she would never see again in her life, seeing tears in her eyes, Eric was panicked,

"Hai...hai... I didn't mean to... Please don't cry, I am sorry, it's my mistake that I was harsh on you, I was just worried you may fall... Please... Please don't cry"

Listening to the conversation from behind, Megan and Daniel came back to present, turned to look what was happening, when Eric again said in a panic

"Madam, I am sorry, I was just worried about her, I didn't know she will be so sensitive"

Megan nodded...and said

"It's ok, you both carry on, we will be there soon"

Daniel too...understood, Megan needed some time with Crystal, so he said

"Let's go, Eric"

Eric rubbed his nape and looked at Crystal, while Megan nodded to him, to ensure that Crystal will be fine, Eric forced a smile, looked at the girl in tears, and walked away with Daniel...

When Crystal... Smiled bitterly and said...

"He's just like my mama, she use to always scold me for being careless, not taking good care of me, he reminded her after a long time"

Megan understood, that's the reason, she was crying, not because Eric was harsh... Then she thought for some time and asked

"Crystal... Do you like Eric, I somewhat feel he's totally into you, I have known him for a long time, he's a gem of a person... What do you think"

Crystal... Looked at Megan and said

"I do like him Megan, but I need some time to possess it... Still, that let it be the way it is"

Megan nodded in understanding, then walked out with Crystal, to see the gentlemen waiting near the car, Daniel said,

"Let's take the same car, to the site visit, Eric you drive"

As he said he tossed the keys to him and opened the back door for Megan, Megan smiled in her heart, thinking, This man is going over the board....but had a serious face, as she stepped in, Crystal walked to the front of the car, to sit in the passenger seat, when Eric a asked with a teasing smile

"Do you want me to open the door for you too..."

Crystal rolled her eyes and said

"No need, I don't expect you to be a gentleman"

Eric smiled and then again asked

"Then what do think about me... A rascal"

"I..."

Before she would even finish, Megan said

"Can guys stop and get into the car, are stay here and fight... We can go without you both"

Eric scratched his head, with a guilty feeling, thinking he was flirting with Crystal, in front of his Boss and his madam... When Daniel looked at Megan with a teasing smile and said

"Want to go with me alone... Then we can"

Megan rolled her eyes, thinking both these lover boys are out of their minds, then she said

"Crystal, get in fast we will be late"

Crystal nodded and got in, Eric reached the place in an hour, when they walked in, Daniel saw, a group of men, not the employees but some other guys on the site, he looked at Eric and asked

"What's going on... "

"I will check Boss"

Eric called the office and asked what was happening and found someone as illegally had taken the land, and not vacating, causing trouble, when he said Daniel the same, Daniel was puzzled thinking who would be so daring to cause trouble in his site, but all his men were in K city, by the time they come it will be late, and he had Megan with him, so he thought not t cause any trouble, after waiting for half an hour, Megan got down from the car, walked to the place Eric and Daniel stood.

"What's going on, where is your team, and who are these people"

Daniel explained what was happening, and said

" Let's go back for today, I will deal with it by tomorrow"

"What the hell are you talking about, we need to finish it today, you can't make it even more complicated, why give these assholes another day"

As she said, she pulled her mobile and called a number...which was her personal 911... Who could come for her help any time, any where, when she needed the most...

"Hai, it's me..."

"Hai Love... Where are you... It ages you have called"

"Cut the crap, I need help, I am in A city for a project, but the land is been occupied by some local gang guys... So"

"No worries love anything for you, give me five minutes"

She cut the call and said,

"We will wait... Help us on the way"

Daniel was even more agitated when he hear the conversation, LOVE... Seriously, Eric who was trying to call T- Rex, looked at Megan in a maze, when Daniel also thought, who the hell was she calling, and the way she spoke, God... It was so not her, and finally asked

"Whom did you call"

"A friend... "

As she said, the leader of the local gang got a call, and he trembled to the person who was on the other side... Daniel was only looking at the guy who was only nodding his head... Then walked to Megan and said

"Sorry... Sorry... Madam, you could have told your Mr Edward's friend, and it's your land for the project, I would have left, why trouble calling the Big Boss"

Megan sneered and said

"If I would have said, I know Edward... Can you believe it, that's why I asked him to call"

The man put his head down in embarrassment, walked out with all his men and belongings... Daniel and Eric looked at Megan in astonishment, who the...was this new rival now... Daniel thought while Eric remembered who it was, it was... the super-powerful Mr Edward White, who rule the in and out of business, oceans, and mafia in west... But how...how did his madam, was so close to him, to even have his personal number, when people even after years of wait can't get a glance of him... But his madam was so free to call him, and she spoke to him as if she was the Big Boss...
