Pay back! (Part - 1)

Since Theo used the word royals, Kevin and Cassie got the clue that the one in front of them was no one else but the grim ripper himself who goes on hunting others everywhere.

He is the sole person in the nation that everyone invites with the wish that he doesn't show himself there. But seeing how he was leaning and embracing Theo was something hard for them to believe.

"How can the beast of our nation is sticking to Theo? How can it be possible when Theo never met him before? Or have they grown closer to each other just in one day after Theo came to capital!" this thoughts were ransacking Kevin's mind but he was rejecting to take them in.

"He might be lurking near Theo so as to get rid of him! Yeah, that's the only possible answer," he thought and glanced at Jasper whose eyes were shooting lesser beams at him.

Beside him, Cassie have already kneeled to show her respect while her body was trembling, but Kevin who was lost in his thoughts stood silently and gasped as he realized that he is stepping toward his death.

"Forgive me, your highness! I was too happy to see you that I forget everything," he used buttery words while making sure that his body doesn't trembles as Cassie's did.

Jasper chuckled and moved his head from Theo's shoulder to her head. She bashed his head before he could put it above hers and moved away from him, "Your highness, its time for me to leave, so you should leave, too".

Others gasped after seeing her guts but since they knew that Theo was still a person who have yet to learn even the most basic things, they understood that she had no idea as to who she was dealing with.

Mike was smiling while at the same time crying, "At one hand my master have scums as her friend who just got thrown away while at the other hand he have a crazy friend who don't wish to leave her no matter what! I wonder which one is better!" he thought.

Jasper smirked but before he could say anything, Theo started to walk out, "My father worries for me your highness, so let's meet at the academy. Goodbye".

Looking at her back as she walked away, he smirked and turned his glare to Kevin and Cassie.

They flinched and gasped since the pressurizing aura was too hard for them to maintain their calmness. Soon after Theo left with Mike, Gird reached their.

He was in trouble since Jasper ran away from the palace all by himself and seeing two goats ready to be killed he panicked.

"Your highness, the king is calling for you, so leave this to fools here and come with me," he said.

They felt a little relieved since there was a chance for them to survive from the ripper's hand.

Jasper smirked and said, "Its ok, no need to make an excuse to save others, since I have no intention to kill them so quickly".

Whether to feel relieved or worried, it was too hard to understand for Kevin and Cassie and they left as soon as Jasper left.

Astarte mansion:

Staring at the half moon she continued gulping grapes but her mind was lost in other thoughts.

"It was too easy to walk away from him today, is he planning something?" she was thinking about the time when Jasper didn't stopped her from leaving him and it looked quite suspicious to her.

She glanced at the clock, it was already past 9 PM and the one she was desperately waiting for was her father.

"Why isn't he here yet and why nobody asked me to have dinner? Usually they nag me until I eat my food but today it is weirdly too silent," she mumbled and walked out of her room in a loose clothes.

As she slowly walked through the stairs, the maids and other workers who were passing by her didn't had their usual smile, rather their head was down and they looked quite nervous as if trying to hide something specially from Theo.

"What's going on here? Why are they all acting weird and where is Nanny Ai?" she thought while staring everywhere.

A faint sound came to her ear but it was too little for her to hear.

"Is it coming from the guest house?" she mumbled.

Since the guest house of the Astarte Mansion is two kilometers away from the main building, she found it hard for her to hear everything clearly but she could hear the messy voices.

She stopped at a place and closed her eyes to hear the sound coming from far away and as soon as she opened it, she gritted her teeth.

Using her quick steps, she walked up to there but Nanny Ai stopped her from entering, "Young master… no, Your highness! Why are you here at such a late night? You should rather be eating and sleeping".

"Do you really believe that things can remain hidden if no one says it?" Theo replied, her eyebrows furrowed and she sighed as she saw Nanny Ai worried face.

Nanny Ai stepped aside since she got a clue that Theo have found out the things going on in the guest house which was the farthest away from the main building of the Astarte mansion.

As Theo stepped inside, all the nervous workers had their eyes on her but they didn't stopped her since Nanny Ai stepped aside and let her in.

"What do you think? Did you really believe that by hiding it with your shirt sleeves, I can't see your injury," she said to Mr. Castillo who was sitting and getting treated by his man who is proficient in treating wound.

The windows and doors where shut so to keep his groan into the room and he especially wanted to treat his arm which got penetrated by a bullet in the Guest room so as to hid it from Theo.

Mr. Castillo stood up in panic as soon as Theo opened the door and made her statements with her serious face.

"Why are you here and how did you found it out?" he asked and glanced at Mike who was standing beside him.

Mike gasped and shook his head, "Not me! How can I tell him when I am present here".

Theo frowned, her eyes on his right arm which was bleeding and she stepped forward, and asked him to sit back and get his wound treated.

"Tell me, who did this to you," she asked while his man continued to treat the wound.

The bullet was already out and was lying in a small plate. Mr. Castillo avoided her eyes and didn't replied to her which annoyed her.

He doesn't wanted Theo to worry about him so he hid it from her and made sure that no one opens their mouth but in the end she found it out, but now that she was asking him about the culprit, it scared him more.

A girl who didn't feared a beast like man and went to fight with him, why would she stop if she knows who tried to hurt her father. He was worried about that fact and avoided answering her.

She bit her lips while touching her forehead, "Why can't you tell me? Is the person related to the one who tried to kill me? Are you hiding it because you are afraid of them?".

Her questions were hard for him to answer and he said, "You should go and rest, we should not talk about this matter anymore".

 She frowned and said, "Do you like hiding things from me? Hiding about my mother, hiding about assassins and many things. Why, don't you believe me or do you still think of me as a sick child!".

He looked at her angrily while hiding his fatherly gaze so as to scare her away, but she stubbornly faced him.

"Theo! As I said, you will know everything with time, so don't try to know everything earlier. It will only hurt you," he scolded her and pointed toward the door with his eyes, "now go back!".

Theo understood that no matter what happens, he will not tell her but the fire inside her heart which was already lit, could only be stopped by the screams of the one who tried to assassinate her and her father.

"If I have the blue bead inside me, then maybe I can use my power even though I am in a different world where these things doesn't exist," she thought and took a deep breath and stepped toward him.

Her hand reached his forehead and finger tips stopped after getting near the middle point of his forehead.

His wide eyes were staring her as her hand reached him, but he didn't move since he couldn't understand her movements and stayed put to see through her.

Closing her eyes she concentrated and it worked, some of his memories entered her mind but it exhausted her within a few minutes.

She put her hands on her head as she felt dizzy.

Mr. Castillo become worried because of what happened to her suddenly, "Did I scolded you too much? What happened to you suddenly? Call his Nanny and ask her to check him," he said while panicking.

She stopped him, "Its nothing, I just need to rest now and I will be better".

She turned back as she said and gritted her teeth as she thought, "Dear head of the assassins, I am coming to get your head!".
