  Hot, white pain exploded on my right shoulder. I bite down on my lip to keep me from screaming. Guards rushed in, pulling away Zeb's mate from me. She had shifted and let her wolf attack me. Ordinarily it would not have done anything to me since she was an omega, but the fact that she was determined and i let my guard down completely, was her saviour. 

  They clamped her down with silver handcuffs, her howling turned into whimpering noises. 

  "We are sorry we let this happen. We will take her to a holding cell now." One of the guards holding her down says.

  I look up at them from my place on the floor. The woman was obviously heart broken, her mate was in the hospital, I can relate to her since i felt that way few days ago. 

  "He will be fine." I say to the struggling lady.

She finally shifts back into her human form. Luckily she wore the shifting spandex underneath her clothes. She was crying.
