  My finger finds the necklace Seth had gifted me, it was well hidden underneath my shifting spandex. Even with the glow as it touched my skin, she was not supposed to see it. At all.

  "This? My boyfriend got it for me."

She squints at it, the murderous glare still in her eyes,

"Seth bought this for you?" Erin asked, noticing it even after I press against myself.

  "Can I see it?" Geraldine asked.

Before I can answer she removes the necklace from my neck herself, she plucked it from me so the clasp must be broken.

  "hey! I don't know where you are from, but plucking a precious item like that and ruining the clasp is very rude here. I am your alpha." I tell her. I was trying to like this girl but she makes it very difficult.

  She turns the rock pendant around in her hand, it no longer glowed. She made noises in her throat as she turned it in place.
