Silver happily trailed her fingers on Ethan's chest as they both lay in the afterglow of their passionate love-making session. She hummed while tracing a heart shape, feeling him shift to wrap his arms around her.
"What are you thinking, darling?" Ethan asked, resting his chin on top of her head.
"Nothing." A smile accompanied Silver's response. "Just… drifting off."
Ethan sighed, turning his body and pulling her in closer. He looked down at her and asked, "Drifting off to where and why? You want to leave me like a one-night stand?"
"No duh." They both giggled at the thought. After some time, her mood returned to how it was before and it troubled him.
"Don't lie to me. What's bugging you? Are you scared we might have gone too fast?"
Silver was stunned. Her lips parted, and she looked up at him, meeting his gaze. "What? No. I am not."
"Then why aren't you saying anything?"
