Skai did her best to focus on her work and not get angry with her situation. Whether or not it was her father, Damien, Davion or even Kairav, she didn't want anything interrupting her peace.
Tap! Tap! Tap!
Skai raised her brows. 'Who's at my door at this time?'
She had specifically closed her door after the meeting to ensure peace of mind. Just who couldn't read the signs?
The tapping sound, almost like a rapping continued. "Enter please."
Her tone was gruffy but the intruder never mind and opened the door.
Skai's lips formed an O shape as her eyes took in the delivery guy with a package for her.
"Ms. S. Jayden?"
"Yes? How many I help you?"
"You have a package. I just need you to sign here." He placed the box on her desk and handed her the notepad to sign on.
With no questions asked, Skai did as she was told. She signed and returned the papers before the boy left.
