Interlude: The heroes/ old classmates

When Okami fell, Hiro did too. But he used his greatsword to stop him from falling.

"Well, that happened. Guess I gotta tell the others that I found Ryu's reincarnation. If he survives the fall, then they'll be looking for him."

So Hiro tossed himself out of the canyon and walked back to the kingdom.

When Hiro finally arrived, he was greeted by someone.

"So did you find the demon?" A feminine voice asked.

Hiro looks at them annoyed."Wasn't a demon. Though get the others. Oh yea, the King too. It's pretty important."

So they gathered all the heroes, Okami's old classmates, and the king.

A blonde boy, with blue eyes, looks at Hiro and asks."So what's so important that everybody had to be called?"

"Hmm, well for starters, the 'demon' I was sent to kill wasn't a demon. It was the reincarnation of Ryu."

Everybody in the room was shocked hearing this.

The same blonde boy asks."Really?! Where is he?!"

Hiro looked annoyed and said."Well, I was doing my usual, messing with him. He tried to kill both of us. If he survived the fall, he's at the bottom of a canyon."

The blonde boy looks worried for a little bit, before asking."If he did survive, we have to find him. What does he look like."

And so Hiro gave the details of what he looked like.

The King finally spoke up."From your description, he is a hellhound. They aren't demons despite what they look like. They went extinct many years ago. It looks like Lady Iris has reincarnated the boy as a hellhound. They are known for their fearsome strength and crave for battle."

The heroes and king discuss more about what the demons have been doing, and how to counter them.
