Prevent this Catastrophe

In the area out out of distance from the group out earshot but still in their sights. I land behind Trunks while Piccolo lands behind Goku.

"Thanks man" Trunks say to Goku.

"No problem but I should be thanking you two for defeating Frieza and his Father. I had a chance to finish him , but I was a fool to think he might change his ways," Goku says with regret on his face.

" Some might would have change but I don't think Frieza would have. So we decided to step in before any innocent casualties." Onyx says.

"I tried to get here faster but he gained 2 hours on me! I knew he was going to hurt the people so I was going to make my move, but you guys came along," Goku say.

"How were you going to make your 'move' in space, Trunks ask.

"Well it is thanks to technique I learned called Instant Transmission I would have been here in seconds," Goku says.

"That is a very useful skill I would like to have," Onyx says.

"I wonder why do I feel uncomfortable by Goku," Onyx thinks to himself.

I decided to stop talking and just listen and observe like Piccolo was doing.

Man, what a bummer. If I hadn't know you didn't need help with Frieza, we could have come later avoided the risk," Trunks says and Onyx pats his head.

"What risk do you mean? Goku ask.

" I don't mind answering that question but first let me ask you something. Can you become a Super Saiyan at will?" Trunks ask with a serious look.

"Well at first I wasn't able to, but now I can control it," Goku says

" Show me please" Trunks ask and Goku nods.

I jump back when piccolo saw me do that he did the same. Goku then turns Transforms into a Super Saiyan and to return the gesture Trunks turns Super Saiyan. Trunks then whip out his sword in at breakneck speed, and slashes downward at Goku but stops an inch from the man's head. To me and Trunks surprise he didn't move.

"Why didn't you dodge it?" Trunks ask to Goku.

"I searched your feelings, so I knew you would stop." Goku says

" I see. Well this time I'm not going to stop, got," Trunks says as he lift his sword up again.

"As you wish," Goku say in a calm tone.

Trunks charges many times at Goku but is block by Goku with one finger. This continue for a few minutes, until Trunks returns into his normal state.

" I feel like we can trust you Goku. I know that for sure" Trunks says and Goku returns back to his normal state.

"Sorry we had to be so secretive. We needed to make sure you can be with what we are about to tell you. You cannot tell anyone else. Can we have your word," Trunks ask.

" Sure I can keep a secret, you have my word," Goku say.

I walk to Piccolo and whisper in his ear.

"I want you to listen up and exclude the parts that can danger my partner's existence when you tell the others," Onyx whisper to Piccolo and he nods in response.

"Thank you. My name is Trunks and this is Onyx. This is going to sound really strange, but we're not from this time. We travel through time with a machine from 20 years in the future." Trunks say causing Goku and Piccolo to be surprise.

"Vegeta was right. Only he, yourself and Gohan have Saiyan blood and I got mine from him. He's my father." Trunks say and this time Goku jaw drop.

"You're serious … wow… Vegeta's son" Goku says in amazement.

"I will be born two years from now." Trunks say.

"No kidding? Vegeta's going to be a daddy!" Goku says with excitement,

"Goku. We didn't come here to tell you that ," Trunks say in a serious tone gaining back Goku's attention.

" In 3 years time on the morning of May 12th at 10 am, a horribly destructive duo will show up on an island 9 miles South-West of South city. They have fearful power, even by our standards. Their monsters Goku, that's the best way to describe them. Once they surfaces, the Earth and everything you ever know and love will be gone" Trunks say.

"Are they aliens?" Goku ask

"No they are both androids, created right here own earth. Their creator is Dr. Gero, the old mastermind responsible for the Red Ribbon Army. Do you remember?" Trunks ask and Goku nods.

"What's his plan? What is Dr. Gero trying to accomplish," Goku ask.

"We are not certain because he is destroyed by his own creations the moment he woke them. They acted on their own since and just for the hell of it, destroy everything and anyone that comes across their path. They do whatever they want not caring for anything or anyone but themselves. They have devastated the population " Onyx says.

"Living in our time is a nightmare. Always running, hiding, looking for a way out," Trunks says in challenging tone adding on to Onyx

"Wow. (breaths) You guys defeated Frieza in a flash, but yet from what you're saying , these androids are even stronger than you" Goku say

" But what about the others, why are they not helping you," Goku ask and Trunks swallowed hard.

They're dead all of them. Three years from now, the Earth's fighters will be gone. I'm all that's left from the group, and even after meeting Onyx a couple of years ago, we can only do the best we can. They are all gone! Vegeta, Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, Chiaotzu, Piccolo…They are killed in battle against the androids. The only survivor is my master and best friend Gohan and he barely escape from that battle, but 13 year later that finally get him" Trunks say barely holding his emotions.

"This was 4 years ago in our time and as you know already, with piccolo gone means the dragon balls are gone. Making the time machine cost many lives. So many has suffer at them. Damn them They are just far too strong." Trunk say getting angry with each sentence.

"Wait a second. What about me? Do I die in battle as well?" Goku ask wondering where he was.

"Son Goku you died before any of this happens. You will catch a new heart virus that will kill you. Despite your strength there is nothing you can do about it," Onyx says and Goku eyes widen.

"What a bummer! Being killed by a stupid virus …What a waste! Darn it! I want to fight those androids1 I don't even get to take a crack at them." Goku says.

" You mean that after everything you've heard, you still want to fight them? Aren't you scared of them at all?" Trunk ask with disbelief in his tone.

"All challenges are scary at first, but maybe I can make a difference," Goku says.

"A guy like you probaly could. You're a true warrior. My mother and Gohan were right about you Goku. We really can trust you. I'm glad we came," Trunks say to Goku while smiling.

Trunks pulls out the antidote his mom gave him and hands it to Goku.

" It is the cure for the virus you contract please take it when the illness strike and you'll be cured," Trunks say.

"You're kidding me?! Wow! It's awesome." Goku say excitedly while eyeing the antidote bottle.

"To be honest Goku we shouldn't be doing this because it is going to change history. Things got so terrible that we had to do this. But you can make a difference Goku, my mother told me you could. And now I believe her." Trunks say with belief in his tone.

"Your mother knows me? Am I going to meet her or do I know her now?" Goku ask

"Now." Trunks say with a shy look.

"I know your mom huh? That's bizarre. Does she live by me or something? Goku ask with excitement.

"She standing over there," Trunks say pointing to Bulma, and Goku doubled over in laughter and Piccolo let out a gasp.

"Wow. Bulma and Vegeta huh? Incredible. I thought Bulma was going to end up with Yamcha, but man, Vegeta," Goku says and Trunks begin to shuffle uncomfortable.

" I'm going to cut in now because you are making my partner uncomfortable. Bulma just had a fling with Yamcha which was a small thing. Bulma and Vegeta have a flare that draws the two together." Onyx say while hugging Trunks and look at Goku with a serious look.

"I don't remember my dad, so it's really great to meet him even though he is cranky," Trunks say to lighting up the atmosphere.

" I know it seem off-the-wall Goku but don't say anything about there relationship or my partner won't exist," Onyx say.

"Not a problem " Goku says.

"Hey Trunks we need to go before Bulma get to worried about us and I got a couple of things to do," Onyx say

"Tell her I send my love and thanks for the cure. You guy are great. Goku say.

Me and Trunks fly away to the Time Machine and I get in first then Trunks sit in my lap. The machine flying into the air and we see the group looking at us. We wave bye and then we go back to our time.
