Reinforcement Part 1

" Will we be able to hold them off before the reinforcement arrives" asked Josh while looking at the army of gnurx?

" I don't know, but what choice do we have than to fight" replied Ellis.

" There's no need to worry young master Ellis if the fight goes beyond our control then commander Derrick will have to get involved," said Edward trying to boost the group morale.

" Can you please shut up, since you are confident in your commander then why don't you tell him to get involved from the start" shout ray to Edward.

" Who do you think you are to talk about commander Derrick in that way" yelled back Edward?

" Enough you two, if you want to bark out each other you can do that after the battle and stop disturbing my ears," said Ellis

Exchange a look they decided to drop the matter before facing what's ahead of them.

" So is there any plan on how we are going to attack" asked Ray while looking at Ellis?

" There is no need in making plans, we'll just have to face them head-on" replied Ellis while clenching his fist together.

They all kept quiet and waited patiently for the gnurx to come close.

While the gnurx were matching forward Ellis and his group were already prepared for battle and when they were close enough, Ellis ordered his men to attack.

" Men attack and make sure you cut those human beyond recognition" order Morris to his army.

" Edward I will have to trouble you with the gnurx warrior," said Ellis while charging ahead.

" No problem young master Ellis" replied Edward before heading for the gnurx warrior.

Separating from Ellis and the group, ray went forward to attack one gnurx after the other, and whichever gnurx his blade touches if it on the same ray as he will be slain while those above him only sustain injuries.

With two swords in hand ray able to hold his ground on his own though he sustains injuries from here and there, they were not serious.

Meanwhile, while ray was battling on his own, Ellis and his maids were to battle the gnurx army together with the workers, and whenever any of the workers were in danger, either Kate or maria also come to their rescue but still they were not able to save everyone.

" Young master Ellis, this is not a good idea to be fighting the gnurx army on our own," said josh while kicking a gnurx on its stomach to get it off balance and deliver a killer move.

" Hold your ground, since the reinforcement from the clan is on their way here victory will soon be in sight" replied Ellis who was battling with two gnurx.

" But there are just too many of them for us to come up on top," said someone from the crowd.

Hearing the complaint from different angles and seeing that they are low on morale, Ellis could help but curse at his father who had sent him here to perish.

" Listen up everyone if we make it out of here alive I Ellis promise to reward you and does that perish here, I promise to reward your family handsomely," said Ellis in a loud voice for everyone to hear.

And it seems like the workers are beginning to get motivated after Ellis's little promise.

" What is the need of me to continue working here if I could get a reward like this," said someone from the crowd.

" Exactly even if I die, my family will be able to live a comfortable life," said another person.

" If I am going to die here then I don't mind taking some of this bastard along with me," said another person.

All different types of words were being altered by the workers, and it didn't take long before they all charged at the army of gnurx recklessly without being fearful of being killed.

And seeing that his men have gained the will to fight again, Ellis also charged in smashing gnurx from left and right.

All this while Ellis and his men were fighting it out with the gnurx, Ray has been crowded by a bunch of gnurx, and he was already being dyed red with his blood and the blood of the gnurx he has slain. But all this time that he was fighting, he has not been able to level up to QI refining 9 stage, and the battle point he gains from slaying the gnurx were either used for purchasing health potion or Mana potion.

" I need to think of a way to get to Ellis else I am going to lose my life here in this encirclement," said Ray to himself while looking around the gnurx in search of a weak link in their formation.

Seeing the ray way was looking at them sent a chill down their spine, even though they know that the situation is under control, but there is always a desperate move a corned dog will make to free himself or take someone with him. After observing for a while, he was able to see a little opening in their formation. With a sinister smile, Ray sent two wind slash at the exact place, and it didn't take long before the formation was breech while two of the gnurx died from the attack.

After creating an opening, Ray dash out of the bunch of gnurx and headed to where Ellis was in battle.

" So you finally decided to come back," asked Ellis while hitting a gnurx while sending it flying.

" Are you kidding me, come on man there is no way I will be able to face off against a freak that is difficult to hurt on my own" replied ray and at the same time slashing a gnurx by his side.

" While is it taking long for the reinforcement to arrive" asked Ray.

" I don't know, but we'll have to hold them off until they arrive" replied Ellis while punching a gnurx.
