Joining The Hunter Guild

Walking into the guild, Ray and Ellis we're busy looking around the luxurious guild. There is a resting room for customers, looking around they saw stairs that lead to the top of the building.

After taking in the view, they both headed to where the receptionist was station.

Seeing that the two men are heading her way, the receptionist stops what she was doing before greeting them when they got to her station.

" Good day two sirs, how may we be of service to you".

Ellis walks toward where the counter was before replying.

" We are here to apply for the hunter's membership".

When the receptionist heard what Ellis said, she couldn't help but take a look at him once more.

' What kind of quest can a lazy pig like him do' thought the receptionist.

Seeing the way the receptionist was looking at him makes him angry. Meanwhile, Ray who stood behind Ellis couldn't hold his laughter anymore suddenly let it out.

Turning to look at Ray who was holding his stomach while laughter just turns him off.

" Do you think it's funny," asked Ellis in anger.

Gathering his strength to contain the laugh, walk up to the counter while jerking.

" Don't worry about my friend, you see he may be fat as a pig, but he's really impressive when it comes to battling," said Ray.

" And who are you calling a pig," asked Ellis while hitting Ray at the back of the head.

" What the hell, I am trying to put in a good word for you and this is how you repay me" replied Ray while robbing the back of his head.

Seeing that the two men before her won't put an end to all their blabbing, the receptionist quickly said before any of the two could say a word.

" Since you are here to join the hunter's guild, I will have to trouble you two to please sign this contract with your blood," said the receptionist while placing a tablet in front of them.

Ellis bit the tip of his finger before placing it on the tablet. After three seconds the tablet began to glow before dimming down. After completing the registration, Ellis steps aside for Ray to register, and it didn't take long for Ray to complete the registration also.

Taking the tablet back, the receptionist brought out two tags and hand them over to both of them.

" Here is your tag, with this tag you will be able to store your accumulated point for completing a quest. And as for your rank, since you both are in the QI refining stage you will be starting as a hunter apprentice" said the receptionist.

After putting the tag on, asked the receptionist.

" Since we are apprentice, do you mind telling us how we can be promoted to become an official hunter"?

" Sure to be promoted to a hunter, you will need to have a cultivation level of at least foundation 5 and an accumulation point of at least five hundred" replied the receptionist.

" And how can we check our accumulated point," asked Ellis this time around.

" Just like the way you operate your storage ring, so also you will be able to operate the tag to check your accumulated point. You can also purchase information, pills, and weapons with your accumulated point via your tags" replied the receptionist.

They thank the receptionist for the info she has provided them, and they were just about to leave. But before they could walk out of the guild, they heard the receptionist saying to.

" Remember to come to look at the quest board tomorrow to partake on a quest".

After leaving the guild, they went to a pub to get some drink before walking to their residence. Later that evening in the garden, Ellis was busy practicing his fist technique while Ray was sitting on the ground with a cup of beer while watching Ellis train.

After completing his practice, he went to join Ray and that's when Ray asked him.

" Don't you think you will be needing a weapon since we'll be going on a quest from now on"?

"Who needs a weapon when I have the greatest weapon of them all" replied Ellis while raising his fist in indication.

" You seem to be very proud of your fist huh," asked Ray.

" Look Ray, it is not about being proud but what matters is the result. I wish the MIGHTY LION FURY I practiced is a complete technique, then I will be able to unleash amazing fighting powers replied Ellis.

After Ellis said those words, Ray suddenly thought of something and asked the system right away.

" System since you were able to give me the potion shop, is there by any miss to be a shop for technique".

When Ray heard he has access to a battle technique he became angry.

' So if I didn't ask in the first place I wouldn't have been told' said Ray to himself.

Ray decided to let the matter pass and command the system to open the battle technique shop.

The next moment after Ray gave the order, a list of techniques begin to appear in his mind.

Seeing the list of techniques, Ray couldn't help but open his mouth in shock

' what are they that costly" thought Ray.

Putting that aside, Ray turned to Ellis and said.

" Don't worry too much about it, after we complete a quest tomorrow I will get you an amazing first technique".

Ellis didn't think Ray was serious and just laughed before continuing with his drink and after they were don't drinking, they to their separate room to get some sleep.
