They were walking slowly. Their house was on the outskirts of the city. Beyond that lay thousands of acres of the farm. These were the farms where his sister worked.

"Let's go to the cities," Henry said. He did not want to go to the farm as trees would remind him of the last moments of his previous life.

Angela nodded and they turned to walk inside the city. When they went a little deeper they could see a few shops and small restaurants.

"I couldn't help but wonder how big the village is."He said

A smile blossomed on his sister's face and she answered " Nice try to joke but even a fool can see that this is a city."

This is a city. Henry was taken aback. Then why were all the houses made up of stones? He began wondering. Did inventions like brick and cement not exist? The siblings toured around the city and chatted about various things. Then it started getting too late and they returned home.

Henry slowly recovered in about a week. He could now do most of the things. One day he asked to help his sister at work so he asked her where can he get work. All of their savings was spent in treating him when he was injured. So she could not deny him. She told him that he could accompany her the next day.

The next day he followed her to get some work. They arrived at a small cabin-like structure and she knocked on the door. An old man got out from the cabin and upon seeing Angela he smiled and replied

"Oh, little girl you brought your brother along! Do you want a job for him?"

The old man was the owner of the lands. The old man was a friend of their parents when they were alive. He had always treated the siblings well after their parents died. It was a pity he did not have any children. His wife died very early and after that, he never remarried. He could never get over her death.

"Yes, is there any work available for him? Please give him some work."

"Yes, he can plough the fields. six silver coins for every acre ploughed."

He was handed out a plough and the old man went back to his cabin.

Henry went to the open field and raised the plough to pierce it through the soil. As soon as the plough hit the ground, A voice could be heard in his head.

"Exp is used to upgrade your system and unlock new functionality while the system points are the currency of the system and can be used to buy various types of items."

The shop seems to be locked for now maybe it will unlock when I upgrade the system. Henry thought.

Now let's focus on work. He was extremely tired by evening, they decided to end their work for today. Both received a silver coin each for that day's work.

Soon six months passed. Wheat was ready to be harvested. Henry was very excited. Finally, he would get something out of the system. Wheat was harvested and the produce was very good. It could not be said the best but it was one of the best they had so far.

After the harvest, he received a notification.

Henry had a smug smile on his face. It was one of the best yields on this farm. He was confident of his achievements.

"System awards the host with 6 points depending on the quality of his work."

Henry's expression changed rapidly " Only 6 out of 10 for such an amazing job" He was clearly dissatisfied with the evaluation of his work.

"Host should try to work better instead of shouting at the system."

He was furious. First, the system tells him to find a cultivation technique by himself and now it is only giving him work and ordering him around. Isn't it a bit unfair?
