One By One

Tang Fei Yun looked at the Beasts in the sky with a frown on his face. They reminded him of the stories about the underworld, with its numerous monstrous beasts guarding its gates.

"They set up some kind of Formation and gathered the wandering souls in the area," he commented.

"Wandering souls?" the Third Sword asked with a bit of intrigue, "As in ghosts and spirits?"

Tang Fei Yun shook his head, "Ghosts and Spirits likely exist somewhere, though I have never witnessed one in my entire life. The wandering souls I speak of merely refer to the remnant souls of dead beings that have dissipated"

"These souls have no intelligence and most people can't sense or bother with them. Those who can have very few choices unless they manage to gather thousands of wandering souls"

"I see, then is the amount that they have gathered dangerous?"
